Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Kilimanjaro

You'll be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. You'll meet your guide and the rest of your group for a briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you'll be driven to Marangu Gate and complete the registration process. You'll then begin the trek through the rainforest to Mandara Hut, where you'll spend the night.

Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Today, you'll trek through the heather and moorland zones, enjoying spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. You'll spend the night at Horombo Hut.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Kilimanjaro

The fourth day You'll continue your ascent, crossing the barren alpine desert zone and reaching Kibo Hut, located at the base of the summit cone.

Day 5: Kibo to Horombo Hut

Kilimanjaro

You'll wake up in the middle of the night to begin the final push to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak. You'll reach the peak just in time to watch the sunrise over the surrounding landscape. After taking in the views, you'll descend back to Horombo Hut for a short rest before continuing on to Marangu Gate. You'll receive your certificate of accomplishment and be driven back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and a well deserved rest.
