Kampala to Kidepo valley NP

Pick up from Kampala by 6:00am to Kidepo valley national park. Have a stopover in Gulu for Lunch. You will enjoy the scenic views as you drive along the massive savannah vegetation into the Park. Overnight stay at Adere Safari Lodge or Kidepo Savannah lodge.

Kidepo Valley National Park

After the early morning breakfast, head to the Park for a game drive. You will see variety of birds and animals. Be on the lookout for herds of buffalos, elephants, some lions, duikers among others plus variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch In the evening, go with a ranger guide and head for a nature walk. You will have a greater view of the Park, watch birds and game Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Adere Safari Lodge or Kidepo Savannah lodge.

Game drive and a cultural Visit

Take a game drive to the hot springs via the Kidepo seasonal River You will view ostriches, leopards, cheetah if lucky as you proceed Return to the lodge for lunch Thereafter, go for a community walk to the neighboring Karimajong community Visit the Manyattas – the typical Karimajong homestead Interact with these nomads, Return to the lodge for the overnight.
