This is a 10days/9nights cultural safari that takes you through Uganda’s cultures of Banyankole people from Ankole kingdom famously known for their long horned cattle, the Batooro culture with the youngest king in the world in fort portal the tourism city of Uganda, lake Mburo national park for wildlife encounters the nearest park to the capital city of Uganda that enables walking safaris since the park doesn’t have lions and elephants making it easy for the unforgettable experience of tracking wildlife on foot and Queen Elizabeth national park for the game encounter and t boat ride on the famous 40km Kazinga channel with the highest concentration of hippos in the world.
The tour starts from Kampala to Lake Mburo national park for wildlife encounter and a launch cruise on Lake Mburo, to Mbarara and Nshenyi cultural village for an insight into the fascinating traditional life style of the Banyankole people.
To queen Elizabeth national park for big game encounter and a launch cruise on the famous 40km Kazinga channel with the highest concentration of hippos. Queen Elizabeth national park is a home of 96 mammals’ species like lions, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, elephants, elands, topis, with over 600 bird species. Proceed to fort portal Uganda’s tourism city for the Batooro culture with the youngest king in the world, visit Amabele ga Nyina ga Mwiru caves (breast like features) and undertake a hike to the dramatic fort portal crater field.
Visit Nakayima tree on your way back to Kampala a tree that is believed to possess a spirit called Nakayima standing over 40m high with strong buttress roots which serve as rooms in the shrine. The tree is believed to be over 400 years. Enjoy interesting stories told by the guides and the powers of the tree.

Itinerary
Pick up and transfer to hotel
Arrive in Entebbe following the flight from your country of origin. Land at Entebbe international airport the main gate way to the pearl of Africa where you will find a company representative of Avelisa tours and travel dedicated to offer you a courteous welcome to the pearl of Africa. After a short briefing of the safari, you will connect to the hotel in Entebbe for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Pickup and transfer to Lake Mburo
Start the day with breakfast and then embark on a drive to Lake Mburo national park making a stop-over at Mpambire in Mpigi to meet the Buganda royal drum makers. Then continue with the journey making another stop-over at the equator at kayabwe for photos & the water experiment. Then continue with the journey to the park .On arrival, you will check-in to your hotels ,have lunch,& relax then get ready for the nature walk . Then after the walk return to your hotel for dinner & overnight.

Morning game drive & launch cruise
Enjoy morning breakfast with the hissing calls from different bird species. Then prepare for the morning game drive where you will be able to take photos and videos, expect to see many animals like zebras, impalas, antelopes, hippos, etc. & birds. Come back for lunch and take a rest as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. Expect to see more aquatic animals like crocodiles, buffaloes,and birds like king fishers, the rare shoe bill, After return for dinner at your hotel and overnight.

Morning & evening cultural advent
After breakfast, transfer to Igongo cultural center. Make a stopover at the 1520AD Eclipse monument on Biharwe hill overlooking the Igongo cultural centre. The 3 pillar monument reminds local people of the time when the Omukama (king) of Bunyoro had confiscated the entire cows of the Ankole kingdom leaving people in complete starvation. Settle for traditional lunch then connect to Igongo cultural museum to tour the Erijukiro museum . Then proceed to Ntungamo for relaxation, dinner &overnight.

Morning & evening cultural experie
After breakfast, undertake an uphill hike to visit farmers harvest honey from the caves, you can also opt to engage in the harvest. Take part in the milking process, watch milk being processed and preserved. Learn about traditional homesteads crop cultivation and food processing while interacting with the locals. Retreat for relaxation and settle for lunch. Experience and enjoy the traditional music and dance known as Eikitaguriro of the people of southwestern Uganda.

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park for lunch and embark on an evening game drive in Ishasha where you will sight wildlife tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes and many more. proceed to hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Morning game drive in kasenyi
The day will start at 8; 00am with breakfast & embark on a morning game drive at kasenyi plains. This is where most of the wildlife in the park can be spotted.The morning game drive is the most rewarding where you get to see animals when they are mostly active. like the Uganda kob, elephants, rhinos, lions etc. and bird species . Return to the lodge for lunch and then embark on a journey to Fort Portal tourism city, You will arrive late in the evening, check-in, have dinner and overnight.

Early morning visit to Amabere ga
After breakfast, embark on a journey to visit Amabele ga Nyinamwiru caves and enjoy the cultural stories attached to this cave. It is nestled between several trees and beautiful waterfalls. Retreat from the activity for lunch and relaxation. Undertake a hike to the crater lakes field; the hike is quite adventurous with scenic views of the area. The lakes were formed as a result of vulcanicity, They are so many and vary in size. Retreat from the activity for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After a morning breakfast undertake a visit to the Royal Tooro palace, you will get to know about the Toro tribe, stories, culture, cultural equipment among others. After an early morning breakfast, you will have a guide to take you through Fort Portal tourism city for brief tour around the city, then embark on a journey to Mubende, on arrival you will have lunch then proceed to visit Nakayima tree one of the oldest and strongest trees in Uganda believed to possess spiritual powers that hill people, provide wealth and fertility.
