This is a 14 days/ 13nights safari to western Uganda offering you an extended safari to western Uganda allowing you to explore Uganda’s wildlife, the big 5, cultural tour, gorilla tracking, chimpanzee trekking and launch cruise on the world’s longest river and at the 40km long Kazzinga channel.
This 14 days safari will take you to Murchison falls national park the park that has the strongest falls in the world and the biggest national park in Uganda. Within the park, the plateau is vegetated by woodland and tropical forest while the hot rift valley plains are covered by savannah and bush. After Murchison falls, you will go to Semliki national park an exciting destination for primate viewers and birdwatchers. To Kibale national park famously known for its large and varied primate population, 13 species,9 of them are diurnal including chimpanzee, L’Hoest’s monkey and red colobus. To Queen Elizabeth national park located on the open rift valley floor the grasslands of the park introduce an exciting opportunity to search for the big game. The park is famously known for tree-climbing lions. To Mgahinga national park for gorilla tracking and then finally back to Kampala.

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will meet you and welcome you to the pearl of Africa. He will then drive you to your hotel where you will relax, have dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Murchison falls and

Murchison Falls

After breakfast you will start your 6 journey to Murchison falls.On your way you will have views of different spectacular features of the landscape, Rhino sanctuary Uganda’s proud home of wild white rhinos, you will have an opportunity to encounter rhinos in the wild, you will track the white rhinos in the sanctuary, after settle for lunch then proceed with the drive to Murchison falls national park. On Arrival in the evening for check in to your hotel, relax, & have dinner and an overnight

Murchison Falls

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to view the big game in the wild you will see animals like the African elephants, antelopes, zebras, giraffes etc. After the rewarding game drive you will return for lunch. In the afternoon undertake a launch cruise on the white Nile where you will have a view of the falls and the thundering sounds of the falls expect to see animals like crocodiles , herds of hippos and also water birds. You will return for dinner and overnight

Murchison Falls

After breakfast, undertake a hike to the top of the falls where you will have clear views of the devils cauldron where water forces its self in 7m wide gorge cascading 40m down forming a thunderous roar. Return to the lodge & check out from your hotel & drive to Semliki national park.will have lunch en-route. And arrive in fort port Uganda’s most attractive town marvelously varied, the landscape is carpeted by tea plantations, forests.You will check in to your hotel,have dinner & overnight.

Nature walk to the hot springs

After breakfast you will go for a guided nature walk in the park in search for primates. 15 primate species live within 6km of the primeval hot springs of Sempaya & the water is at a high temperature being the largest hot springs in Uganda. Expect to see birds and various primates.You will return for lunch and relax preparing for the trail in the Batwa people where you will learn about their lifestyle, traditional music, dance &drama. After the trail you will return for dinner and overnight

Transfer to Kibale national park

Kibale

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kibale national park the which is famous for its large & varied primate population including the chimpanzee, L’Hoest’s monkey & red colobus. You will have lunch then go for a guided nature walk traversing the villages surrounding the forest like kikoni, Nyakalongo & Nyaibanda. As you make your way through the villages, you will get to interact with the cultures & locals including the Bakiga & the Batoro. You will then return for dinner and overnight

Chimpanzee trekking

After breakfast,for a briefing from the ranger about the chimp rules and how to behave when your with the chimpanzee, after start trekking, this may take a whole day cause its always from 1-8hours. You will have lunch in the wild. On sighting the chimpanzee, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them learning about their way of living, watching them eat, take photos when your camera flush is off. After the trekking you will return for dinner, relaxation and enjoying the rest of the night

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth N.P

After breakfast you will embark on a 2hour journey to Queen Elizabeth national park The park contains lakes, rivers, open savannah, acacia woodland, tropical forest and vast wetlands collectively supporting an impressive 95 mammal species and over 600 species of birds. You will lunch on your arrival, check in to your hotel and have an evening game drive in the park expect to see different animals like, buffaloes elephants. Antelopes.After the game drive you will return for dinner and overnight

After breakfast you will go for a morning game drive, this is where you get to see animals active, look out for lions, warthogs, Antelopes, elephants, .Return to the lodge for lunch & prepare for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel at 2:00pm a meandering drive among spectacular volcanic craters, you will see crocodiles basking on the banks, herds of hippos and different bird species like African jacana, gull billed tern, grey crowned crane among others. Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla N.P

After breakfast you will embark on a 4hours journey to Mgahinga national park, the park has a magnificent setting on the northern slopes of the Virunga volcanoes. It has two rare primates the gorillas and the golden monkeys. You will have lunch on your arrival, check in and go for a Batwa trail, you will learn about their ways of living, culture and their traditional music, dance and drama. You will return for dinner and overnight

After your breakfast you will be transferred to the park offices for a briefing from the ranger about the gorilla rules and how to behave when you’re with the gorillas. You will be divided into groups of 8.on sighting the gorilla you’re allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas. You will watch them eat, feed, play and resting in their habitat. The tracking takes from 1-8hrs. After trekking you will have lunch in the wild. After trekking, return for relaxation, dinner and overnight
