Fly from Kajjansi airfield on the edge of Kampala to Kidepo Valley airstrip in the far northeastern corner of Uganda. This afternoon discover the Narus Valley flanked by rugged mountain chains, framing this stunning savannah wilderness. A series of waterholes & wetlands leads the wildlife to congregate here with the chance to spot giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions & leopards. Explore the wildlife tracks until the savannah is lit up by the sunset’s golden glow.

Hike Mount Morungole to meet one of the most remote tribes on the continent, the Ik tribe. On reaching the summit you will gain a spectacular panorama across the plains below, into Kenya & South Sudan. On reaching the Ik tribe's village visit the homesteads & meet some of the tribe members to learn about their daily life & culture, before being treated to a demonstration of a traditional dance.
