Arusha / Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara

Drive to Lake Manyara Park for game viewing and and photography; Lake Manyara is home to large numbers of flamingo, pelican, stork and other different bird species and is therefore regarded as the birding paradise of Tanzania. Other animals easily spotted include hippo, which can be observed at close range during your boat ride. Giraffe, gazelle, warthog and others can be seen browsing inside the park.

Early breakfast followed by departure to the Great Serengeti arriving for lunch; lunch is followed by game viewing. Serengeti is home to Africa’s big five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard & buffalo) and is also home to millions of other animals which include browsers, predators, reptiles and birds. The annual wildebeest migration commences in June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head into the Masai Mara plains in search of better pasture
