Transfer from Kigali to Akagera NP

Akagera

On this day, your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel or Kigali International Airport. You'll then embark on a journey to Akagera National Park in Eastern Rwanda. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the lodge. You will then embark on a night game drive, allowing you to spot nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas, bush babies, civets, genets, and porcupines. You'll return to the lodge for well deserved dinner and relaxation.

You'll wake up, have breakfast, and board your vehicle. You'll then go for a game drive in Akagera National Park. You'll see a lot of wildlife, including the Big 5 (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos). You'll also see other animals like hippos, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and many others. You'll then have lunch and embark on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. You'll see crocodiles on the shores and many other animals quenching their thirst. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer back to Kigali

On this day, you'll have breakfast at ease. You'll then go for an en route game drive, which may allow you to see animals that you might have missed the day before. You'll then proceed with a journey back to Kigali. Your diver-guide will drop you off at the hotel or airport, and this will mark the end of the 3-day Akagera Wildlife Tour.
