Tarangire

Today, you will explore Tarangire. It is one of Tanzania's largest national parks and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six hundred elephants.

After breakfast, you can be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. You will have a lunch box continuing with a drive to the park. After breakfast, your hotel to Serengeti. The drive can take up to 4 hours and it’s the perfect way to see different shades of Tanzania’s ever-changing landscapes. The arid scenery will slowly be exchanged for the lusher and greener surroundings of the Rift Valley. You'll enjoy a full day doing game drives in Northern Serengeti in the Gogantende (Mara River area) to take in the great migration experience. Today, you will have a full day to explore the Northern Serengeti and hopefully see the river crossings. You'll break the day into morning and afternoon game drives or take lunch boxes for a full-day game drive. Today, you will have an easy start to the day. You will have a short drive to Mto wa Mbu village and meet your local guide who will take you for a 2 to 3-hour exploration of a local town and village.
