Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, you will be picked up by your safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park (about a 2-hour drive). Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy your first game drive in the park, where you will spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species.

Day 2: :Karatu to Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Serengeti National Park (about a 4-5 hour drive). Upon arrival, you’ll begin with your afternoon game drive in Serengeti, one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves, known for its vast plains and rich wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, and continue your afternoon game drive

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti

After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. You’ll explore different areas of the park, keeping an eye out for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and other wildlife. If you’re visiting during migration season, you may witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater (about a 3-4 hour drive). Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the crater for a morning game drive on the caldera floor. Ngorongoro is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, then continue with your afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi (about a 2.5-hour drive). Upon arrival, visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania, for a cultural experience. You may even have the chance to join them in a traditional hunt or learn how they gather food from the land.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park (about a 3-hour drive). On arrival, begin with a game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, where you may see tree-climbing lions, elephants, flamingos, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue your afternoon game drive to spot more wildlife

Day 7: Lake Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Arusha (about a 2-hour drive). Depending on your flight schedule, you can either head directly to the airport or take some time to explore Arusha before your flight. If you have a late flight, you may have the option to relax in town or visit a local market or cultural site before heading to the airport
