Day 1 Arusha – Central Serengeti

Optional 1—Drive to Arusha airport or fly from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam Airport to Central Serengeti. After arrival, proceed with a game drive. Option 2– We will travel to Serengeti on the road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. A UNESCO World Heritage site and recently proclaimed the 7th wonder of the world. After the game drive, we will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight, at the Lodge.

Day 2 Central Serengeti

Serengeti

Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, mostly exploring the wildlife. Serengeti resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with a pride of lions up to 30 strong. The key feature is the Mara River, and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River. Please note that finding a crossing is very difficult and sometimes a matter of luck. We will later continue to the Lodge and campsite for dinner and overnight,

Day 3 Serengeti Central – Arusha

After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge with a packed picnic lunch and depart for a last game viewing on your way out of Serengeti. In the late afternoon drive to Arusha for your onward flight. Alternatively, continue to your booked hotel for an overnight stay at Arusha. End of tour.
