Shira Gate to Shira Camp 1
Drive to the Shira Gate for registration and start your trek. Hike through moorland and heath zones to Shira Camp 1, situated on the Shira Plateau. Enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s peaks as you settle in for the night.
Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2
Ascend gradually across the Shira Plateau to Shira Camp 2. This day helps with acclimatization and offers stunning views of the western side of Kilimanjaro and the expansive plateau. Overnight at Shira Camp 2.
Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp
Hike towards the Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. This strategic climb and descent aid in altitude adjustment while providing fantastic views of the Barranco Wall and surrounding landscapes. Overnight at Barranco Camp.
Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak &Descend
Begin your summit attempt in the early hours, reaching Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro. After celebrating your achievement and taking in the breathtaking views, descend to Mweka Gate. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha for a well-deserved rest and reflection on your climb.
