Following the tower, you'll descend to the Barranco Camp. Although you end the day at a similar elevation to where you began, this day is crucial for acclimatization and preparing your body for the summit

On this challenging day, you'll start your journey in the early morning hours, between midnight and 2 am. The route takes you to the summit via the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. You'll head northwest and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. From Stella Point, you may encounter snow on your 1 hour ascent to Uhuru Peak. The descent begins from the summit, leading you to the Mweka Camp via Barafu, where you'll enjoy lunch and reflect on your remarkable achievement.

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

After breakfast, you'll begin your descent to the Mweka Park Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates.
