Karibu, Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), our visa specialist will meet you at the immigration Area and welcome you to the beautiful country of Tanzania. Keep your eyes peeled as he will be holding a poster with your name and will help process your Tanzania visa application, making your arrival to East Africa easy and efficient. With Tear mark adventure you’ll also to skip the long and confusing queues at the immigration! Our dedicated visa specialist will meet you at the immigration area. He will be holding a sign with your name posted on it. Hand him your completed Tanzania visa application form and your Tanzania visa fee in U.S. dollars cash (+ $50 pp for most countries, + $100 pp for U.S. passport holders). He will then process your visa on your behalf, enabling you to avoid the long queue and confusion at customs. Once your visa is issued, passport stamped, (and you will also be finger-printed), you will be escorted to the baggage claim area where you can pick up any checked-in luggage before exiting the airport. Our Tear mark adventure & safari’s representative will meet you outside the airport and then immediately transferred to your hotel.

ARRIVAL DAY: October 2018  | TRANSIT: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha, 45min

Karibu, Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), our visa specialist will meet you at the immigration Area and welcome you to the beautiful country of Tanzania. DAY 1: October 2018 | TRANSIT: Arusha - Tarangire, 2h-Karatu

Travel overland to Tarangire National Park, a savanna woodland dotted with monumental ancient baobabs alongside the most magnificent herds of African elephants found in Northern Tanzania. Tarangire River provides water all the year round, making Tarangire NP a critical refuge during dry season for migratory ungulates, resulting in sheer densities of wildlife.

You can expect to see big herds of elephants and mighty predators such as lions. Other common mammals of Tarangire are aardvark, ground pangolin, crested porcupine, olive baboon and vervet monkey.

DAY 2: | October 28thTRANSIT: Karatu- Ngorongoro- Central serengeti

Wake up early, head to the Crater Floor and to be one of the first vehicles on the ground. The Crater is a home to a variety of animals that share the vast space of the caldera, about 30,000 in numbers.

You will be delightfully surprised to see zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and rare black rhinos alongside the predators such as hyenas and lions.Enjoying „Ngorongoro Crater gam drive, and by late afternoon drive to Central serengetiSeronera is one of the most important spots of Serengeti National Park, where you can witnessn actual kill in the flesh. This area is in the heart of the Serengeti, where all game drives, balloon safaris, and catching planes take place. Seronera Wildlife Lodge is located on the migratory route, and it provides front-seat viewing of this extraordinary natural phenomenon.

DAY 3: | October 29th TRANSIT: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti, 3h

Serengeti kopjes may reveal all sorts of wildlife ranging from insects, snakes, lizards to large predators such as lion, leopards and cheetahs. Kopjes provide excellent vantage points to survey the surrounding area for food source or predators. Keep an eye out for Hyrax, small herbivore mammal exclusive to the kopjes.

By the afternoon, travel to Northern Serengeti by the Mara River where the grass is nutrient-rich and capable of offering the migratory herds a proper supply of food and water.

DAY 4: October 30th 2018 | TRANSIT: None

Spend a full day exploring the Mara River and have an opportunity witness one of earth‟s most spectacular wildlife events: the annual Great Migration of over 2 million migrating animals.

This is the time and place to witness the famous Mara River crossings. See giant Nile crocodiles basking in the sun, waiting patiently in the water for the big migration to enter the area. You will have opportunities to catch thrilling game action or perhaps even witness a river crossing, as the wildebeests and zebras endeavor one of the most difficult part of their migration journey and cross over to Masai Mara.

Overnight: Mbugani Migration Camp.

DAY 5: |October 31st TRANSIT: Northen serengeti(fly) to Arusha,

Spend your last morning exploring the Serengeti and immerse yourself in the wild. Travel to Kogatende airstrip and fly back to Arusha (DEP 10:00, 12:10) and say goodbye to your expert safari guide who has been there for you every step of your journey.

Upon arriving at Arusha, rest at a day-room before boarding your flight. Afterwards, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and connect to your international flight back home.
