Day 1

Mikumi | Nyerere (Selous)

Day 1 Dar Es Salaam – Mikumi National Park Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at Dar Es Salaam Airport by your guide and leave for Mikumi National Park from Dar Es Salaam being nestled between the Uruguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. As it is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi National Park you go on game drives around the park. Dinner and overnight MIKUMI.

Nyerere (Selous)

Day 2 Selous Game Reserve After Breakfast go to Selous Game Drive named after the explorer Frederick Selous.TheSelous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland. The topography of the park from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. Activities are game drives and a walking safari. Together with an armed ranger or Masai guide you explore the bush by walk. Dinner and overnight SELOUS.
