This safari will take you through Botswana`s parks and game reserves and Victoria falls in Zimbabwean side. Traveling to one of the most sought after wilderness destination in the world from Central Kalahari Nxai Pans to the Okavango Delta, will be experienced by a dugout canoe (mokoro) along the narrow delta channels. DAY 1

Maun Airport to Rileys Hotel

First day of arrival in Maun where you will be picked from the airport to the lodge, where you will spend one night and have lunch or dinner depending on the time of arrival. Before arriving at the lodge we have an option of going to town to buy anything or changing our currencies. On arrival there will be a briefing of the whole trip itinerary as well as what to bring to expected during the trip and the time of departure the following morning.

Day 2

Maun to Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Just after our morning breakfast we park our bags in the trailer and drive 3 hours to along the Makalamamedi veterinary fence of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve through the Matswere Gate. On arrival in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve we should expect to see animals. We then drive to south eastern side heading to Deception Valley where we will spend a night camping. The area “Deception Valley” is a magnificent fossil river which is covered by clusters of trees and grass. Animals found in this area are the Kudu, giraffe, Eland, springbok, hartebeest, wildebeest, lion brown hyena, black backed jackal and leopard. On arrival in the campsite we will find our camping tents prepared as well as meals. We will sit around the fire enjoying our dinner. Later we spend the night in our tents

Day 3

Central Kalahari Game Reserve

We wake up in the morning doing our game drive heading to Central Kalahari West. We will have our packed breakfast and water with us since we will spend most of the day out doing the drive. We expect to see a variety of animal and bird spices like the secretary bird, kori bustard, double banded couser, acacia pied barbet, crimson breasted shrike, lesser grey shrike,sabota, sparrowlark, common ostrich, scaly-feathered finch and the gabar. Later in the afternoon we have our lunch in the bush prepared by our chef and camp hand. On arrival at the Campsite in the evening we will find our tents readily prepared by our camp hand and dinner ready. Hot water for bathing will also be ready. We will spend our night around the fire place as we will be discussing the itinerary of the following day.

Day 4

Central Kalahari

We wake up early morning and do the drive, from there we return back to the campsite to have a brunch. After resting we then do our afternoon game drives in the valley in search of game. If good rains have fallen we should expect to see black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, cape fox, leopard, Kalahari lion, blue wildebeest, plains zebra, common eland, sable antelope, gemsbok, springbok, impala, greater kudu, cape ground squirrel and ostrich. Later in the campsite we will find our dinner and hot water readily prepared. We will spend the night in our tents.

Day 5

Central Kalahari to Nxai Pans

Early in the morning we depart from the Central Kalahari Game Reserve we drive to the Eastern side passing through Rakops Village local cattle posts heading to the Nxai Pans which is situated on the north eastern part of Botswana covering about 2578 square kilo meters with an addition of Baines’s Baobabs area. We have our brunch on a good looking spot in the Nxai Pans. The Nxai Pan, a water basin located about 3 kilometres from the main access point of the national park. On arrival in the Park the campsite in the evening we will find our tents prepared while the chef prepares our meals. We will enjoy our dinner around the fire and later spend the night in the tents.

Day 6

Nxai Pans

We will wake up early in the morning and have our breakfast. After breakfast we will drive to the eastern side of the Nxai Pans heading to the Baines Baobabs which were immortalized in paintings by the artist and adventurer Thomas Baines in 1862. Today, a comparison with Baines’ paintings reveals that in almost 150 years, only one branch has broken off. Predators such as Cheetah, Leopard, Jackal and the shy and rarely seen Brown Hyena. These predators find enough prey all year round, even during the driest of months. Elephant and giraffe can be seen on occasion and the very rare white rhino is sometimes encountered. We will have our lunch in the bush in a good looking spot. Later we drive to the back to the campsite in the evening to have our dinner and spend a night in the camping tents

Day 7

Nxai Pans to Maun

Just after our morning breakfast we pack our camping equipment and drive back to Maun. We use the A3 Maun Nata road passing through Makalamabedi gate. On arrival in Maun we will spend the night in a lodge while making preparation for the following day s activities. We have an option of going shopping which will be arranged with the tour guide. Before going to bed we will have a brief discussion about our itinerary for the following day

Day 8

Maun to Okavango Delta to Moremi

After our morning breakfast we depart to Boro Boat Station where we will do our traditional canoe (mokoro) for some hours. On arrival we will find our polars waiting for us. We will have our packed lunch and water with us which we will eat while in the mokoro. After some hours we will do the bush walk in one of the Islands before returning back to the boat station. On arrival at the Boat station we will find our guides waiting for us. We then drive to Moremi Game reserve. Depending on our time of arrival we will have chance to do evening drive. We will have our dinner and spend the night in our tents

Day 9

Moremi Game Reserve

Just after our morning breakfast we drive in the Moremi Game Reserve. We will drive to places like Xini, paradise pool and black pool depending on the weather conditions as well as road conditions. During our drive we should expect to see animals like elephants, Impalas, giraffes, zebra, Impala, buffalos, red lechwe, sitatunga and many more as well as a variety of birds. We will have our lunch in the bush in a good looking spot. From there we continue with our drive. We will return to the campsite in the evening. On arrival we will have our dinner and hot water to bath. Discussions on our next day s itinerary will be done

Day 10

Moremi to Xakanaxa to Khwai

We will have our early morning breakfast from there drive to Xakanaxa Baot station in the Okavango Delta. We will cruise for 3 hours in the delta. If we are lucky we will see crocodiles and hippos. Mostly we will see different bird spices of the Okavango Delta. After cruising we will have our lunch then drive to the Khwai concession. Its a long good drive. Along the way if we see anything interesting we will have time to admire it. On arrival in Khwai we will find our campsite ready, the chef will also ensure that meals are ready. We enjoy our meals and rest in our tents

Day 11

Khwai Concession Area

We wake up early in the morning to have our breakfast then do morning drive in the Khwai concession area. The Khwai is rich in habitat and wildlife. The animals are attracted to the narrow ribbon of water that is the Khwai River and this provides for some spectacular wildlife viewing. This is an area where lion and leopard may be seen. There is a healthy population of plains game, including kudu, impala, giraffe and zebra. On our way from the drive we will have enjoy our lunch and rest in the camping site. Later in the evening we do evening drive, all meals will be prepared by the chef in the campsite.

Day 12

Khwai to Savuti

We wake up early in the morning and drive to the Savuti, as we will be driving we will see animals along the way. We will spend a night in the Savuti area. The area is renowned for its sightings of lion and hyena, as well as supporting a large population of bull elephants. Cheetah can often be seen on the plains around the marshes and the many rocky outcrops mean that leopard are common, as are the agile little klipsringer antelope. Along the way we if we see anything interesting we will have time to stop and watch it. Meals will be provided

Day 13

Savuti to Kasane

After our morning breakfast we drive to Kasane where we will spend a night in the lodge. The Chobe National Park has as its main geographical features lush floodplains and dense woodland of mahogany, teak and other hardwoods now largely reduced by heavy elephant pressure. Depending on our time of arrival in Kasane we will do boat cruising in the Chobe River and game drive in the park. We will spend the night in the lodge, have dinner in the restaurant.

Day 14

Kasane to Victoria Falls

We wake up in the morning and drive to Zimbabwe where we will spend a night in a Hotel. Depending on our time of arrival we will have time to visit the Victoria Falls. All activities in Victoria Falls are optional activities for our clients, they pay for their meals, visas as well as all activities.

Day 15

Victoria Falls

Just in the morning after breakfast we check out from the hotel. Depending on our flight time we will make arrangements to the airport
