Lekedi Park
An astonishing conversion project which has transformed an industrial site into a nature town over 14 000 ha of forest where a colony of wild mandrills is living. A gorillas' island is also accessible by boat. Only site in Gabon where animal watching is 100% guaranteed.
Lope National Park
A wordly heritage listed by UNESCO due to its unusual ecosystem showing ecological and biological evolution processes and its numerous petroglyphs showing human migrations and evolution through ages.

Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Arrival to Libreville. Meet assist and transfer to hotel. Meal(s) Included: No Lodging: La Résidence du phare
Day 2
Day 2: To Lekedi Park Transfer to airport for convocation time at 8.30am. Departure at 9.30am to Franceville. Arrival time 10.45am. Transfer Bakumba. Arrival around 1.15pm. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner Lodging: Lekedi Park
Day 3
Day 3: Situated south of Moanda and Franceville, Lekedi Park is the successful result of an astonishing conversion project. Bakoumba, the place with the longest mono-cable way in the world (76km), became in some years a "nature" town. On 14.000ha has been set up: fish culture, breading of wild animals, ecotourism, mushroom production, roof tiles, pottery, weaving of raffia. Platforms for observation of the animals (especially mandrills and chimps), the ties of the railway used as fence posts, and most spectacular, a 30m high bridge of 360m long overlooking the canopy where a colony of chimps is living. The excursions in the park allow you to approach wild group of mandrills at very close quarter. Meal(s): Breakfast, lunch, dinner Lodging: Lekedi Park
Day 4
Day 4: To Lope National Park After breakfast you will go on excursion to Lekedi Park. Available excursion in Lekedi Park: Mandrills excursion Chimps excursion Gorillas excursion Sail on Lekedi Lake (crocodiles, varans, birds, antilops…) Forest hike till the Lekedi cascades Safari by 4x4 (river hogs, antilops, impalas, buffaloes…) In the evening you will take the train to Lope National Park. Train schedule is subject to change. Meal(s): Breakfast, lunch, dinner Lodging: Lope Hotel
Day 5
Day 5: Arrival time at Lope village around 2am in the night. One of the drivers of Lopé Hotel will collect you from Lopé station and will drive you directly to your hotel. After an early breakfast, you will go for a full day mandrills tracking hike in the forest. An ecoguide will have spent the previous on locating them in the forest. However, vision still cannot be guaranteed. Likelihood of watching them is around 80%. Meal(s): Breakfast,dinner Lodging: Lope Hotel
Day 6
Day 6: After an early breakfast, you will go again for a full day mandrills tracking hike in the forest. This excursion may give you a better chance to meet them. In the evening, you will be transferred back to Libreville by train. Meal(s): Breakfast,-, dinner Lodging: Lope Hotel + Train
Day 7
Day 7: Return to Libreville Arrival time in Libreville expected around 7am (when you will be transferred to your hotel.) Transfer to airport for international connecting flight. Meal(s): none Lodging: La Résidence du phare
