Travel Chiwelu Malawi tours

 Day 1--After arriving at the airport our guide will take you on a short tour of the cultural village to have a first hand experience of the African village experience with a Malawian twist,observe the malawian culture and get an appreciation of Malawian tradition,after lunch is served during the tour your guide will then take you to Dedza,there our guide will take you on a brief tour of Dedza's main landmarks and interesting features,sights include Dedza town hall and Dedza market.After touring the town our guide will then take you on a short but very satisfying hike up Dedza hill,there you will have great views of the town below,here you will then rest while having a picnic snack while you rest.Our guide will then  take you along the weathered  trail all the way down to Dedza Pottery and Lodge ,here you will have the opportunity to view local arts and crafts and fine Malawian pottery art,dinner will then be served after which you willl rest reflecting on the experience you have just had.

Day 2-3-Our guide will take you to  South Luangwa in the morning and you will  arrive in Luangwa valley, lunch enroute.Arrive at the lodge and start experiencing the African bush,enjoy dinner at the camp restaurant in the evening while overlooking the river and observe the African elephants roam the park while you listen to the sounds of nocturnal animals.Day 3 will give you the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural habitat at night to find out their nocturnal behaviour,dinner will also be served at the camp.

Day 4-6-Our guide will then take you to Cape Maclear where you will arrive in the evening at Lichere Inn,on day 5 a tour of Lake Malawi national park will be conducted in the morning,one should expect to see smaller game on this tour,encounters include baboons,monitor lizards and many more,one should also expect to see abandoned ruins of the old colonial era which are now occupied by monkeys and baboons .After lunch a tour of Domwe Island will then begin,one will have the option to depart from the main grooup and go on a snorkelling tour to explore the underwater fish species or go on a kayaking tour of the island to explore the island's most peculiar features.

Day 6-Our guide will take you to  Mvuu camp at Liwonde national Park in the morning to observe  the wildlife present in Liwonde National Park once you arrive in the afternoon,you will have close encounters with lions,hippos,elephants,leopards and buffalo,lunch will be served at the camp,after lunch the group will then go on a boat ride on the river to observe,hippos,crocodiles and more,after the boat safari dinner will be consumed at the camp after which one will have the opportunity to enjoy activities such as star gazing while listening to the eerie nocturnal sounds of the African bush.

Day 7-Our guide will then take you to  Huntingdon House at the Satemwa tea estate,an old colonial house  to enjoy a birding Safari in the morning,after lunch a tour of the old house will be conducted which will end at the factory,get a glimpse of the rich history of the house and the buildings on the estate as well as  learn its secrets.You will also have the option of going on the tea tasting tour after the main tour,you will then rest in the evening after dinner is  served.

Day 8-After breakfast our guide will take you straight from Thyolo to Lilongwe International Airport for you flight back home
