An exciting adventure

Tarangire for me was a fun filled adventure that I thoroughly enjoyed. I mean I know I went when there were just a few animals but the prospects of seeing animals that were identified by names with our tour guide just that, made my trip worthwhile.
The grass was everywhere and it brought a smile to my lips but what took the adventure to its climax were the elephants. In this park I saw so many elephants that it felt like I was in an elephant park. At one point we were on the park roads and an elephant was coming to us. The guide had to stop the car and we were told not to make any noise, we were silent as it came closer and closer to our safari car and thank heavens we were either boring or the call of its mother was more fascinating at it turned and left us alone, but that moment was exciting as hell. Tarangire brings excitement guaranteed.
Apart from the named wild animals the diversity of tree species all the way from trees that are more than a hundred years old to new ones, Tarangire is amazing. We saw a baobab tree that was so old and used as a hiding spot by old hunters and it was exciting to get out of the van and into the baobab tree.
Tarangire was one heck of an adventure…and I hope I will go back there some day.
