So many elephants!

Views: 392 Visited: Jan 2015 Reviewed: Aug 05, 2016

Tarangire is a great park, especially in the dry season. The animals congregate around the available watering holes, particularly the elephants. The baobabs make for a stunning backdrop. Lions are also often seen and the termite mounds make for a great vantage point for cheetahs.
In the rainier months, mosquitoes can be problematic. This park also has tsetse flies, particularly in the wetter months.
A night or two in Tarangire is highly recommended. It's one of our favorite parks in Tanzania.
