Serengeti is the best national park overall in Africa. The landscape is an endless plain that's full of wild animals. This is the land of lions and big predators (leopard, cheetah etc.), the Great Migration huge herds move all the year following the rains. If you are lucky you can see a crossing on the Mara River or wildebeest giving birth in Ndutu area.
Retima has a pool full of hippo. You will spot elephant, zebra, antelopes, monkeys etc. Last but not least, the birds. It's full of birds, small and big birds.
Serengeti is a huge park (around 15000 Km2) and deserve at least 2 nights. You can spend 4 or more nights if you plan to follow Great Migration.
Tented camp here is unforgettable experience: a drink at the camp fire, you start listening the bush sound and this will continue all the night long.
