A Sound Safari!

This was a lifetime experience and I feel proud to have done it! The trip was organised as part of a family wedding safari where we went out exploring for the first 5-6 days. We stayed at the Mbalageti Safari Lodge located in the Western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. One of the main attractions was the migration of the wildebeests which we saw at sunrise. This was so exciting and interesting! During the Safari I also got to see lions, cheetahs, herds of giraffes and zebras. The nights were always an adventure as we would get up in the morning and at breakfast would discuss what we heard during the night. Driving through the Serengeti whilst enjoying the breeze and the panoramic views of the Serengeti plains and Mbalageti river was satisfying in itself. On one the evenings, just before sunset, we ventured out to the Grumeti River where I also got to see crocodiles and hippos. If you are planning to go on a safari then the Serengeti National Park is a top destination...
