Charming Chobe

Views: 518 Visited: May 2016 Reviewed: Jan 30, 2017

Chobe National Park and the riverfront never disappoints.
There are two aspects to visiting Chobe, the game drives and the boat trips. The boat trips are my favorite, mostly because in the afternoon you can see the elephants coming to the water's edge to drink, and if you are lucky you will see elephant swimming in the river. The sound of the hippo when you are on or close to the water is something else that I truly enjoy and if I could bott... read more

Excellent guiding and exciting game viewing

Views: 711 Visited: May 2016 Reviewed: Jan 31, 2017

I didn't know what to expect when I visited Hwange National Park for the first time. Before I visited, I heard stories of big elephant herds, high quality guiding and exciting walking safaris. Nothing I heard or read before could have prepared me for the adventure and fond memories.

Ruaha National Park is located in the southern parts of Tanzania, it is part of what is know as the southern circuit. If you were to fly directly from the Serengeti to Ruaha it would take a couple of hours, Coastal has flights that connect the two parks. You can also access this park by light aircraft arriving from the Selous, Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. It goes well with a Serengeti Safari and also combined with Selous.

Lake Manyara - incredible experience

Views: 498 Visited: Nov 2014 Reviewed: Feb 03, 2017

I had visited Lake Manyara National Park as a day visitor before, as most people on the northern circuit in Tanzania do…just passing through. The day visits are rewarding, there is no doubt about that. The easy-to-reach areas are enough to allow a rewarding day visit. But there is more and I didn’t fully realise this until I had experienced it for myself. If you can spare the time, you will not be disappointed. Lake Manyara National Park has l... read more
