Kruger National Park is one of the most famous game parks and offers a variety of accommodation and wildlife and is a Big 5 game reserve. I have visited this park many times. The game viewing never fails to disappoint. I also suggest entering down south by the Malelane gate and taking a drive to the middle of the park to the main camp called Skukuza. There is a spa here where you can have a meal at the main restaurant which has a lovely deck w... read more

What an Safari Adventure

Views: 101 Visited: Jan 2017 Reviewed: Mar 05, 2019

I have been to this national park a few times and usually when I visit the next door Sun City resort. Pilanesberg is only 2 hours from Johannesburg in South Africa so a close drive away. You are in a Big 5 animal park and won't be disappointed. I recommend having a picnic or barbecue at the scenic spot which overlooks the large lake in the middle of the park, get there early though as it is very popular. We stayed in a tented camp just outside the park close to the Anderson Gate. We spent a few days driving around the park and there was never any time that we did not see animals, big or small, especially lots and lots of field game. My favourite an... read more

View from the plane so memorable

Views: 63 Visited: Jun 2011 Reviewed: Mar 25, 2019

I went to the famous Delta with 2 work colleagues for a trip and we had the time of our lives such a memorable safari.

Upon arrival at Maun Airport you board a light aircraft plane and fly quite low over the Delta and all the channels and you can see elephants even from the plane. You touch down at an airstrip close to your lodge and the safari starts already with your transfer by 4x4 to your camp or lodge.

We stayed in a luxury tented ... read more
