My friend and I booked a custom, 4-day safari with Afrishare that turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Our driver/chef and guide were consummate pros, and on top of it, a blast to spend time with. They helped us find spots to get really close to amazing animals. They set up camp for us at each site... it could not have been easier. Even the food was excellent. Ibrah made everything as easy as can be with booking, and made sure every detail was taken care of. On top of his great service, he is friendly, genuine, and easy to talk with.
Do not hesitate to book with Afrishare!

Afrishare does not even rate one star!
Let me start by telling you that I am in the charter business and very familiar with bad tour operations. We did a seven day private tour in 4 parks. The Masai Marain in Kenya The Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire in Tanzania.
If Abrahim Juma Mkwizuthe (the owner) lips we’re moving he was lying, He lied about vehicles, time spent in wildlife parks, accommodations, travel times, and what was included in his advertised package. On your website!
Meet and great at the airport upon arrival in Nairobi Kenya to meet our driver and taken to our hotel. Afrishare did not show. We had to get a taxi. The guide was not informed of our arrival until we were at our hotel.
The drivers were great but the vehicles were junk, absolutely trash, you could not see out the windows, the seats were not functional, not safari vehicles, one was a 20 plus year old two wheel drive van with no working Vhf. bald tires. The radios that professional operators use to communicate with other drivers to locate the animals. We were sent pictures of new safari vehicles that we would be in, these were not the ones provided. You had to lay the seat back to see out of the window! And could not see out the front! I cannot imagine if there were more than my wife and I in the vehicle.
Once deposit was made accommodations that we’re advertised in the park we’re now fully booked and unavailable. Afrishare replaced these with inferior lodging outside the park. Afrishare then saved money by having the driver do a game drives outside the park, therefore only having to pay for one day in Serengeti park, not two as advertised saving park entrance fees ( anyway this man could cheat you out of a dollar he would)
Travel times between Masai Mara park and Serengeti 5 hours turned into 11 hours on the road in a beat up old dusty truck going down washboard back trails at 10 to 20 mph. We could not look out window without laying the seat at a 45 degree angle, then no time for game drive, regardless we did not stay in park.
Driving between Serengeti and Ngorongoro he took us down backroads where Afrishare wasted time so he would only pay for one day in crater park fees
Promised a full day in Ngorongoro crater we maybe got 3 hours in the bottom as we had to be outside the park by 1 in the afternoon so he did not have to pay park fees.
Afrishare promised a 7 Days safari inside these wonderful parks! He only paid park fees for 4 and a half days, pocketing the remaining entrance fees! We were asked to leave as early as 5 in am to accommodate him saving money on park fees!
Afrishare should not be able to advertise on your website, he gives Africa, its wonderful parks, animals and it’s great people a bad name!
Shame on him!

We recently did a 7 day Safari with Afrishare to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. We were lucky enough to see all the big five and many more!

After, we climbed Kilimanjaro with Afrishare too. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and we had a great time. We couldn't have made it without the support of the lovely guides Tino and Kija not to mention the porters! We received a very personalised service co-ordinated by the friendly manager Ibrah.

We would highly recommend them.

A group of myself and four other girls did a three day safari with Afrishare following our month-long hospital hospital placement in the town of Moshi. We had an absolutely fantastic time on safari, visiting Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater which are all beautiful places! Our tour guide was so helpful and friendly and helped us to see the big 5 animals - a rare event!! We saw hundreds of animals each day and it was so fun! The safari truck was very comfortable and spacious and the accommodation Ibrah the owner arranged for us was of very high quality. The chef he arranged cooked the best food we had whilst in Tanzania! Couldn't recommend it more!

We also stayed with Afrishare solutions for a month before the safari in August 2014 and had an amazing time. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and it was in a great location close to the centre of Moshi! Rooms were regularly cleaned and very nice and meals were all included and of high quality. Would recommend Afrishare to anyone of all ages and group sizes!

Marvelous, marvelous; Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Olduvi Gorge. Skipped Kilimanjaro due to time (and age) constraints but no regrets in that regard. Owner/director Ibrah met us at the airport, checked us into a really cool inn in Moshi and sent the two of us off with a guide, a cook and a Land Cruiser to a trip from heaven.
Saw almost everything you could expect in that area thanks to guide Freddy's sharp eyes and knowledge of the area.

My safari experience with Afrishare is hard to put into words. My safari was a five day trip that included both Ngorongoro and Serengeti as well as a great experience with a local Masai tribe. It was a wonderful experience that included seeing cheetahs, leopards, and lions due to our great guide along with delicious meals prepared by our cook.
One of the highlights of my trip was camping out on the edge of Ngorongoro crater that was topped of by a friendly visit from a wild elephant during supper time. I would absolutely recommend Afrishare safaris to anyone who is hoping to experience a great experience with no speed bumps.

I climbed Kilimanjaro with Afrishare a in a group 20 men and women. We had an amazing experience.
We did the six-day tour, climbing up for 4.5 days and down for 1.5. Afrishare were incredible, professional, safe and also encouraging and lively. All 20 of us reached the peak no doubt to all the effort our guides went into keeping our energy and spirits high.
The facilities were excellent, we were greeted in the mornings with tea and coffee and towels, had impressive meals all throughout, and clean water. The standard was of a five star quality which was astounding as we were on a mountain! I would definitely recommend this group as we could not have climbed it without them, both physically and mentally.

I volunteered in Tanzania in 2012 and lived at Afrishare for 6 months. I felt immediately at home. The family is wonderful, kind and funny. They will totally spoil you. The food is amazing. I rarely eat out because I have not found African food anywhere else that compares. Afrishare has a wide variety of volunteer placement opportunities, which will expose you to life in Tanzania. I have also taken several trips through Afrishare in both 2012 and 2014. Each one has been professional and well-organized. There are many choices and you can learn so much about the people and culture. I strongly recommend Afrishare because their accommodations are great, the trips are spectacular and the volunteer placements are so varied and meaningful.
