My wife and mother had long planned to take a trip to Africa. Our research indicated that Namibia was far less touristy than other countries. And plenty safe to drive around, which was a huge appeal for me. The tour operator was just the right help in getting us on our journey and letting us take over once we were on the ground. They met with us when we first landed and gave a great overview of the itinerary and helpful tips, arranged a 4x4 (with GPS routes pre loaded), booked all lodge reservations, and helped us when we wanted to change our trip on the fly while in Swakopmund. The lodges they recommended were top notch and their knowledge of where to go really helped us to make the most of the 2 weeks we were there. They have an option to have a driver go with you, but we opted out. Additionally, we used the safari guides at the lodges we stayed and they were not affiliated with this tour operator.
I would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone who wants to head to Namibia for a bit more independence.
