Mbugani East Africa Safaris

Our Kenya and Tanzania safari experience was an amazing fortnight! From the pick-up to drop-off, we can't fault any of it. The lodges were all excellent and experiencing the culture and wildlife was unforgettable. We travel in May and although there was rain, it was intermittent and definitely didn't impact much on our enjoyment.

Our guides both in Kenya and Tanzania were excellent and very communicative. We learnt quite a lot about the African wildlife and birds from them. Innocent was particularly interesting and kept us busy all along with information on almost everything that happened our way. I have had the fortune in my years in Safari tours to get to go to some special places and meet some incredible guides but I must say Innocent really is at the top of my list!

This was truly a luxurious experience with the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. Wonderful food and terrific staff complement the beautiful surroundings. When we weren't on game drives, we could lounge on our balconies and watch hippos, elephants and monkeys and small herbivores in the Serengeti and Maasai Mara Rivers. Each of the accommodation we stayed at had a swimming and was perfect for cooling off after a drive or just for being lazy mid-day. Be prepared to for an unforgettable experience in Africa.

We had wish to see lions and they came our way not once or twice but seven times...

We leave for home today taking with us hundreds of photos and very fond memories of Africa.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the two-week Mbugani wild dog safari to anyone!

Mbugani East Africa Safaris are very efficient and experienced tour operator with professional touch. Was not expecting this from a small tour operator of their caliber, they truly exceeded my expectations. Communication was spot on and we got all the information we wanted to detail, (not many of the tour operators were able or willing to go that extra mile)

Our guide, Dominic, was a great driver and experienced guide, very informative and fun to be with. He showed us all the wildlife we hoped to see. I thoroughly enjoyed his company :)

Lodges: The Lake Naivasha Sopa was cool, enjoyed the presence of giraffes, waterbucks and gazelles roaming around the lodge grounds. Sekenani Camp was excellent with above average service and really nice people.

Would thoroughly recommend this tour company to anyone looking for a great time in Kenya.

My two friends and I traveled to Kenya over Easter and used Mbugani East Africa to arrange for a week-long safari. Peter and his team made sure that we had the best of times. The communication was fast and planning and payments all went very smoothly.

The suggested accommodations were good and each had its own goodies. We took the 7-day safari that included visits to Ol Pejeta, Lake Nauru and Masai Mara. We saw almost all the animals and plenty of birds. The night game at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy was particularly amazing, on this game run we saw two courting  leopards as well as wild dogs, animals that we would have otherwise missed during the scheduled day game runs. Many thanks to our guide who was provided by the Serena sweet waters camp. 

Our other guide was John and he was also a very sharp chap and with eyes like that of a hawk. He pulled so many animals out of the thickets which none in our group would have spotted despite being on top of the safari jeep and John on the driver's seat, that was an extraordinary skill. We had the jeep to ourselves and this was a definitely an added advantage to our experience.

Would recommend the services of Mbugani to anyone out there looking for a relaxed and exciting safari.
