We all speak English, German and native Kenyan languages. There are also Italian and French guides available upon request. We offer personalized services to our clients. Our office is located in a nice location where clients can easily visit us. Our company is legally registered under K.T.B (Kenya Tourist Board) and the Ministry of Tourism. Our Safari vehicles are well-maintained ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients while on safari. Our staff consists of professional and experienced drivers and guides who are professionally trained in tourism management. My wife and I found this company on the web and we were a bit nervous of the quality of the service as we did not know a lot about them. We had planned a birding and game reserve holiday which covered 19 days travelling by safari vehicle. Throughout we were with our birding guide (Peter Wairasho) and our game guide (
and driver) Jackson Mwangi.
What a holiday. Simon, from Dawn in Africa Safaris who organised all our accommodation bookings and the vehicle, was superb at communication and very clear with the detail. He took care that we were not travelling too many hours in a day and booked us accordingly at all the lodges. His cost was very reasonable.
Peter, our birding guide, has a superb knowledge of birds and where to find them. It was a pleasure having him with us. Nothing was any trouble for him - he took care of everything and made sure there was nothing wanting on our birding trips. He is a real gentleman and can't recommend him more highly if you are birding in Kenya.
Jackson, our game guide and driver, can spot a cat a long way off. I don't know where he gets this knack from. We use to challenge him with finding the next big game and he always (almost) obliged. The final challenge was to show us a cheetah hunting at which he laughed (as did we) and next thing we know he showed us a cheetah and her two cubs hunting and killing a Thomson's gazelle. Unbelievable!!
Oh, he is also a good driver.
We cannot praise these two and Simon enough. We will be arranging another trip to Kenya soon (after we have recovered from this one!!).

I usually do not write reviews but the experience we had with Dawn in Africa Safaris was so incredible I must share and encourage you to use them as your tour operator!
Simon's safari plan was well thought out. This was very important to us as we were travelling with small children. There was good breaks between driving and all the accommodations we stayed in were excellent! They were spacious, comfortable and unique in their own ways! Our driver Peter really made this trip. His knowledge of animals, culture and politics in Kenya was fascinating and he accommodated all of our requests (I wanted to do a lot of shopping!!)
If you want to explore the best of Kenya, this is the company for your in terms of value, comfort and most importantly for us, safety.
