Escape to the luxurious, 4-star The River Lodge @ Thornybush where every moment is magical. The lodge is ideally situated on the banks of the Timbavati River in the world renowned Thornybush Private Game Reserve. The Thornybush Private Game Reserve is approximately 15 kilometres from the Orpen Gate (gate to the Kruger National Park) and approximately 35 minutes from Hoedspruit Airport.

Each of the four private suites at The River Lodge @ Thornybush are built on a raised wooden platform allowing guests to take advance of the raised vantage point for game viewing even from the comfort of their rooms. The glass windows and sliding doors capture much of the natural light and beautiful surroundings which makes you feel one with nature and the bush. Each suite has its own private plunge pool, except for the 'Family Suite' which shares a private plunge pool and is connected by a wooden walkway, ideal for families or for a small group travelling together.
