About Zohar African Safaris
Zohar African Safaris, based in Arusha, Tanzania, is owned and managed by multi-lingual Lilian, an African woman of Tanzanian descent! We are here to share our love and passion for this land by revealing to you its many and varied wonders! With a professional and dedicated team, we create a unique and personalized adventure—one that leaves radiant memories! Our tour services are now extended throughout East Africa! A two, three, or even four country East African safari is as simple as a single country expedition with us! We warmly welcome our guests to an African experience that crafts eternal memories!
About our safari vehicles
In the rough, African terrain trustworthy vehicles are mandatory! Zohar vehicles are reliable, safe, comfortable, and offer wonderful viewing opportunities. Reliable — Zohar Land Cruisers are sturdy, custom-built 4x4s equipped with heavy-duty wheels, spare tires, and extra fuel tanks. Safe — Our vehicles are rigorously maintained and serviced. A full, front-to-back bumper inspection is carried out prior to every trip into the bush. Also, your driver-guide makes a daily inspection before setting out on that day’s adventure. Importantly, every jeep is fitted with High Frequency (HF) radios and first-aid kits. Things Happen — Occasionally a tire can blow when driving in the rough terrain. Back-up tires are always on hand and our driver-guides are skilled at replacing tires quickly and safely. Comfortable — The Land Cruisers are spacious and include many creature comforts: a center-aisle for ease of movement; high-back, cushioned seats with armrests and map pockets; and a fridge to keep drinking water cold! Comfort is key to a pleasant journey on long bush drives. Wildlife Viewing — Our jeeps feature large windows that open for unobstructed views of the African vistas! The pop-up roof-hatch lets you get up close and personal with bush wildlife. You will never miss a shot—just plug your camera equipment into a USB power socket and wait for that next photo opp!
