Day 01, Amboseli Serena Lodge - Full Board
Upon arrival in Nairobi, proceed through Immigration and Customs. After exiting the Customs & immigrations
Hall, Please look out for a Zoar Tours & Safari’s driver/guide holding a Zoar Tours Banner with your name on
it. Our Guide will assist you with your luggage and you will drive south via Nairobi to Amboseli National Park.
Close to the Tanzanian border. Amboseli lies in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Surely this is the most
spectacular backdrop for photography in any wildlife sanctuary in Africa. Here you’ll stay at Amboseli Serena
Lodge. Your game runs en-route to the Lodge will introduce you to large numbers of plains game- wildebeest,
zebra, buffalo, impala and gazelle. Afternoon game drive is inside Amboseli National Park.
Day 02 , Amboseli Serena Lodge - Full Board
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. You may find the parks elephant herds cooling off in the swamp
waters, or the tall Maasai giraffe peering at you through the Treetops. The bird life of Amboseli is rich and
varied-more than 420 species - 47 of them raptors. Part of the park is composed of a dry lake bed which
produces mirages in the shimmering heat swamps and springs are fed by the underground rivers of Kilimanjaro
melting snows, and provide permanent water for game. In the evening a visual feast….Kilimanjaro at sunset.
Day 03, Kilaguni Serena - Full Board
After breakfast depart for Tsavo West National park – enter through Main Gate at Mtito Andei which is half
way between Mombasa & Nairobi. The park's habitats include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and
semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills;
belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and on the Chyulu hills, There are numerous rocky outcrops and
ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones
including the Shetani lava flow, an example of a recent volcano. In the far south western corner on the Kenya
Tanzania border is Lake Jipe, part of which is in the park. This very attractive lake is fed by runoff from Mt.
Kilimanjaro and the North Pare mountains. At Mzima Springs, in the North of the park, water that has filtered
underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools.
Day 04, Voi Safari Lodge - Full Board
Today after your morning breakfast, you will crossover to Tsavo East National Park with game drive enroute lunch at Voi
Safari Lodge. here you will see Some of the attractive scenic features which include: large herds of elephants and
other wildlife, popular legend of Tsavo “The Man-eaters of Tsavo”, Yatta plateau - It is about 290Km long and
is one of the worlds longest lava flows, Lugards Falls on the Galana river - This is not a true falls but a series of
rapids. You will walk down to the river to view the rapids, Mudanda rock - This is a long rock outcrop that is
about 1.6Km long. There is a dam at the base. Animals can be seen drinking. Visitors walk along the rock and
enjoy a cool breeze as well as view wildlife at the base. Aruba Dam across the Voi River. The dam attracts
many animals and water birds can be seen at this dam. Tsavo/Athi rivers confluence – when the two rivers join
they form the Galana river. Elephants, Rhinos, Hirola (Hunters Hartebeest) are in large quantities in this park.
Day 05, Mombasa Serena - Half Board
Today after breakfast you will depart with game drive en-route and drive to Mombasa where upon arrival you
will be transferred to Mombasa Serena Hotel. A place that takes you away from all the strains of daily life and
you dictate the pace and the mood. Optional activities include: Snorkeling, bird watching, reef and beach
walks, cave walks, in house beauty therapist, deep sea fishing, diving, visit to Shimba hills game reserve, tour
the Mombasa island, old town and Fort Jesus, visit to Haller park etc Kenya's tropical coast boasts over 300
miles of beaches lapped by the shallow warm waters of the Indian Ocean
Day 06, 07 & 08, Mombasa Serena - Half Board
For these three Days, full day is at leisure with optional activities or sea Sports to choose from including, water
rafting, surfing, sea diving, water ball, deep sea fishing, boat rides, Mombasa city tour plus much more.
Professional instructors are available for lessons. You will just relax at the coast and enjoy exploring the
underwater marine world of the reefs that lie off its shores
Day 09, Farewell Dinner
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Nairobi. Have a city tour and shopping. Later you will be transferred
to Carnivore Restaurant. The Carnivore is considered ‘Africa's Greatest Eating Experience. A variety of meats
including a selection of exotic meat is roasted over charcoal and carved at your table on traditional Maasai
swords (skewers). Delicious side dishes and an exceptional array of sauces complement this fixed price feast
that also includes soup, a selection of desserts and Kenyan coffee. Set in attractive tropical gardens, the service
and the décor are outstanding. After dinner transfer to the airport for your International flight home.
