Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kinigi (Volcanoes NP)

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
Enjoy breakfast afterward our company guide will accompany you to ORTPN office and hand you over to ranger guides. Rangers will give you information about the expedition you are going for and then after trek down the Volcanoes National Park to look for gorillas -the supreme primates encounter ever! The time you spend to trek the gorillas is changeable but on meeting them you cannot stop the excitement. Following the trekking in case of an early ending, you may choose to have an excursion to find out more about the spectacular lakes in the region (Lake Bulera & Ruhondo) at an added cost – Overnight at the lodge of your budget.
Day 3: Visit Of The Golden Monkeys – Transfer To Gisenyi (Lake Kivu)
Enjoy breakfast after again go to the ORTPN offices for more briefing this time concerning the Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes NP. The golden monkeys (cercopithecus mitis kandti) trek will give you an excellent experience – You will meet the monkeys retort and connect differently as they will continue playing hide-and-seek much to the excitement of the visitors. The golden monkeys live only in the Virunga Conservation Area. They have been nicely habituated and there are 2 troupes. The Kabatwa troop is staying near the Park headquarters and the Musanga troop is nearer to the Karisimbi and has a much longer walking distance. Day 4: Gisenyi (Lake Kivu) – Transfer To Kigali
Rise up early for breakfast and be part of a boat ride to some of the Islands in Lake Kivu. Tour the Napoleon Island, Amahoro and Nkombo islands , incase you are not in a hurry take a tour around the fishing villages, rural coffee washing stations and Nyamyumba Hot springs. We shall have some time to tour some impressive sites near the ride and after come back to the main land for dinner and over night at the hotel of your budget.
Day 5: Kigali Visit and Departure
Having finished your breakfast, basing on you departure time and in case you were unable to take a Kigali city tour on the first day, you will participate in it. Have a tour of the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi and even do some shopping around.
Rwanda has a number of genocide memorials and you will discover so many of them at every corner of the country .The most significant one however is the Genocide Memorials of Kigali referred to as Gisozi and Murambi (Gikongoro) where the history of the genocide is given out. A trip to the genocide memorial is for most tourists a touching event. You will after be driven to the airport for your proceeding flight.
