I visited in September 2014
Our trip to South Africa and specifically our Tracks Safari adventure was simply outstanding! Our safari guide, Darren at the Madikwe Lodge was personable, knowledgeable and also made a great cup of fresh coffee during our morning drives and poured a mean glass of wine on the afternoon drives. LOL! He took good care of our safety, did his best to ensure we saw lots of animals on each drive and provided much information about South Africa, the Reserve and the animals. Everyone at the Lodge was so attentive, helpful and lovely.
We weren't quite sure what to expect and thought we wouldn't be interested in attending two drives per day every day, but guess what?…we couldn't wait to go out on each drive and see more country and animals. By day 2 we had already seen the big 4 (the leopard was elusive), but it didn't matter because every setting was as different as each group of animals were. It was fascinating and touching to see the babies with their moms roaming and eating and wondering why we were staring and snapping pictures of them.
Thank you for helping to make this an incredibly memorable adventure for my two sisters and myself!
We saw: elephants, giraffe, zebra, lion, lioness, cheetah, kudu, wild dogs, wilder beast, warthog, rhino, hyena, baboon, impala, buffalo, steenboch, antelope, jackal, Genet, scrub hare, rock lizard, horn bills…
Just missed seeing the leopard. But I guess we have to have a reason to return, don’t we?
We have just returned from the best holiday ever, 2 weeks in South Africa and Zambia which included Cape Town, Victoria Falls and by a country mile the best of all, the safari in Sabi Sands. Sue organised the whole trip around our brief and everything went smoothly and met all our expectations and more.
The safari experience was amazing, we saw all Big 5 in the...
Immense thanks to Track Safaris for arranging the holiday of a lifetime. All our needs were met, even the ones we did not know that we had. The organisation was superb as was the very personal attention from the director, Sue. Having spent 40 years travelling throughout Africa we have to say that Wilderness Safaris were the best we have travelled with. We have so m...
Amazing - from the moment we landed in Nairobi! We were well looked after, stayed in some beautiful places and saw some amazing sights. We were expecting lots from our safari - we got even more ... It was fabulous!
November was a good time to travel - warm weather, with only short showers and not too many other vehicles around - so the animals were not crowded ...
Just back from an absolutely wonderful Tracks Safari to Kruger National Park and the Kwazulu Natal coast of South Africa.
From the outset, Tracks Safari's owner Sue Preater was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful on the phone, and prompt and efficient in replying to my email and further telephone communications.
We didn't really know where we wanted to visit, bu...
Just wanted to say thanks for arranging such a wonderful trip, it was everything I expected and more. Wilderness Safaris were a fantastic company to be traveling with in every way, the service to me was outstanding including providing me with my own personal guide for my extra days at Toka Leya who led me in the bush on foot to get extremely close to a Wh...
I met one of the reps for Tracks Safaris on a previous trip to Zambia, and really felt that their way of doing things was very much in line with what I look for in a good travel agent. Therefore, when it came to booking my next safari (to Tanzania), I decided to contact Tracks Safaris amongst other operators, to see what they would come back with. In the end, I boo...
