Day 1 & 2
Today on arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met and welcomed to Maun, Botswana by a representative from The Booking Company who will assist you with your luggage and your connection on to a light charter flight for a 15 minute flight over the Okavango Delta to Sanctuary Stanley’s where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
A classic tented camp with just eight tents built under an imposing African Ebony tree on a private concession overlooking the Okavango floodplains. The area around the camp changes with the seasons - from lush green when the rain waters flows down from the Angolan highlands to dry savannah where the Kalahari Desert tightens its grip.
This intimate camp is gathered around a large sitting and dining area which affords magnificent views over the floodplains of the Okavango Delta. From the swimming pool, watch giraffe and other plains game march across the savannah. You might even catch a glimpse of rare wild dogs stalking the plains. Day 3 & 4
Early this morning after your morning activity and light breakfast, time permitting, you will check out of Sanctuary Stanley’s for a transfer back to the airstrip where you will connect on to a light charter flight for your journey across the Okavango Delta to Xakanaxa airstrip inside the world famous Moremi Game Reserve. You will be met and welcomed at the airstrip by your guide who will take you on a short game drive en-route to Camp Moremi where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
An elegant, elevated thatch and timber structure serves as the main building comprising a main sitting area, wildlife reference library, dining room and cocktail bar inviting a true sense of the African wilderness. Your stay at Camp Moremi will be inclusive of 2 night accommodation, meals, teas & coffees, local branded drinks, laundry, scheduled wilderness activities and emergency medical evacuation insurance. All premium drinks, curios and staff gratuities & tips are excluded.
Day 5 & 6
This morning after your morning activity and light breakfast, time permitting, you will depart Xakanaxa on a light charter flight to Chobe National Park’s Savute Airstrip where your waiting guide will meet and welcome you to Chobe National Park. From the airstrip it is only 20 minute game drive to Savute Safari Lodge where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Renowned for its population of bull elephant and for the unique interaction of the resident predator species, Savute is a place not to be missed when you are in the Chobe National Park. The close proximity of wildlife translates itself into the recently refurbished, modern African décor. All suites have private decks, combined bedroom and sitting areas and en-suite facilities. Today after your morning activity and light breakfast, time permitting, you will check out of Savute Safari Lodge and be transferred to Savute Airstrip for your connection on to a light charter flight for a transfer to Maun Airport from where you will continue with your onward travel arrangements.
