This is the ideal adventure for wildlife lovers who have no time to waste! This short Kenyan safari takes you staight into the action at Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru without stopping in Nairobi. Visit Kenya’s finest and best-known game reserve, the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This traditional land of the Masai people, nomadic herders who choose a traditional lifestyle, comprises of 200 sq miles of open plains, woodlands and riverine forest. Contiguous with the plains of the Serengeti, the Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes and a fantastic bird sanctuary, with its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingos. This sight inspired the famous ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson to call it "the greatest bird spectacle on earth".
