Day 01: Transfer from Airport to Arusha Town.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (flight details to be provided) ,you will be Met and greeted by your Safari guide from Tembea East Africa Safaris and assist you with your luggage and escort you to your Safari Vehicle, you will be transferred to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha which takes around 45 minutes drive. If you arrive early you can enjoy the beautiful scenery at offer plus swimming pool. The first Night the meal plan will be bed and breakfast, if you take extra food apart from breakfast you have to pay for it directly.
Day 02: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.
After early breakfast, your will be meet by your safari guide from Tembea East Africa Safaris, who will brief you about your Tanzania Deluxe Safari before you proceed to Lake Manyara National Park which takes two hours drive to the gate of the Park.Lake Manyara National Park is one of the most popular and attractive National Park. For a relatively small area in size, it contains a variety of habitat and diverse animals and birds. Lake Manyara is also famous for its Tree-climbing Lions and numerous migratory Birds. We will enjoy game viewing within the Lake Manyara National park with picnic lunch. Day 03: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast say farewell to Lake Manyara, we proceed by road via Ngorongoro rain forest to Serengeti National Park We will stop at Masai Village or Olduvai Gorge before we proceed ,were you will spend two full days. The largest National Park in Tanzania and one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The park lies in a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands and the Kenyan border towards the Masai Mara Game Reserve and extends nearly all the way to Lake Victoria in the west. The landscape of the park, with its low vegetation and vast seas of open plain, is ideal for game viewing. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migrations of Wildebeest, Zebras, and Gazelles. As these massive Herds of herbivores search for new grazing ground, they are tracked and hunted by an impressive array of carnivorous Predators such as Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, and Hyenas. The vast plains and woodlands are also inhabited by Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Antelope, Ostrich, Jackal, Baboon, and Dik-dik. Bird life in the Serengeti is surprisingly abundant with nearly almost 500 species of birds having been recorded in the Serengeti National Park. Day 04: Serengeti National Park.
Today after breakfast we explore Serengeti National Park, the world famous wildlife sanctuary. The largest of all the National Parks in Tanzania, summed up as 'one of the most unique areas in the world'. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel any where in the world. The abundance of herbivores includes wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, and Hartebeest, to name but a few. Serengeti is also famous for Predators e.g. Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 500 species. Day 05: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast check out from your lodge, with picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Crater Tour. enjoy the view from the crater rim is stupendous and you can admire this masterpiece of mother nature. This oval shape 300 sq.km in area and 610 m deep crater is a repository of Africa's finest wildlife. All the Big Five are present living a privileged existence on the crater floor, and so placid you can move right among them descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 6 hours Crater Tour. Day 06: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest National park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. The national park is located in Manyara Region. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to the less common animals. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and baboons. Home to more than 550 species, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts who can expect so see dozens of species even in the dry season. The swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds anywhere in the world. Yellow-collared Lovebirds are a common bird sighting in the trees along the Tarangire River. The Park is also famous for the termite mounds that dot the landscape. Day 07: Tarangire to Arusha.
After breakfast, depart with picnic return to City of Arusha this will be the end of your Tanzania Deluxe safari. If you will be travelling to Nairobi we can arrange 2:00 pm shuttle bus for you to Nairobi or we can drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARU) for your onward journey to Zanzibar Beach Holiday or return back home.
