Rwefuma Safaris was started in Uganda in 2005 and was incorporated in 2010 under the trade name of Rwefuma Group of Companies. It is owned by locals who live around Queen Elizabeth National park and Rwenzori mountain ranges our closeness to DR Congo and Rwanda gives us an opportunity to serve you even better in those countries. As a destination management tour operator located at the heart of these tourist attractions, Rwefuma Safaris will offer you specialised ground breaking tailor made itineraries to Queen Elizabeth National park, (tree climbing lions, Chimp tracking at the gorge) and Rwenzori Mountain Hiking; the proceeds are re invested locally to fulfil our objective of increasing conservation benefits and rural development. Our strategic location at the centre of Uganda’s tourism attractions in Western Uganda gives us a specialized competency to serve clients who wish to have cost effective safaris to Kibale National park for Chimpanzee tracking, Semuliki National park, Bwindi and Mgahinga National parks for those interested in gorilla tracking without driving long hours this includes Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo National park. It’s also easier and cheaper to connect from Kasese to Murchison falls National park through Hoima-Kagadi rather than going all the way to Kampala.
