It’s a world famous equatorial rainforest known for its diversity of bird and insect life. Its uniqueness makes conservation its top priority. The forest is a natural wonder that has a large variety of indigenous trees as well as species of different animals and bird life. The only rain forest in Kenya. The reserve is also home to 27 species of snakes, other wildlife includes: bush pig, duikers, bushbuck, mongoose, squirrels, porcupine and bats. It also offers night and morning nature walks, village walks to explore the local communities culture. “legendary Crying Stone of Maragoli”. This huge rock produces a continuous stream of spring water, which flows on the sides, giving rise to many and varied local legends.

Day 01 – dept. from Nairobi to Kisumu.

Here you will get to relax and watch the sunset as you enjoy a sundowner after the long drive from Nairobi. There are various water activities to engage in such as boat rides, kayaks. These activities are meant to make you relax.


Day 02-  A visit to Ndere Island National park “The Island of Serenity and Beauty”

After a hearty breakfast you will be transferred to Ndere Island. You will take a boat ride that will give a hint of the daily routine of a fisherman’s life in Lake Victoria. The island has a lot to offer from beautiful views to variety of wild animals and aqua life. You get to fish your own lunch. Afterwards you will go back to the hotel.


Day 03 –-Visiting Kakamega rainforest (THE AMAZON FOREST OF KENYA)

After breakfast you will depart for Kakamega rainforest. THE AMAZON FOREST of Kenya has a lot to offer. Nature walks, primates, bird species, variety of snakes, village walks to learn more about the local’s culture.



On your way to Kakamega rainforest along the Kisumu- Kakamega highway, a stopover will be made “legendary Crying Stone of Maragoli”



After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Nairobi.


Arrival by 5 pm where you will be dropped off at your pick up point
