Zimbabwe is a land-locked country blessed with fertile soils, mineral wealth and wonderful
scenery. Destinations like Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and Mana Pools are worldrenowned
and the country is blessed with diverse habitats, from the granite hills of the Matopos
to the majestic mountains, lush forests and beautiful rivers of the Eastern Highlands. As such,
there is much to attract the traveller, from wildlife viewing and adrenalin adventures to delving
into the history of the Zimbabwean people going back thousands of years.

Day 1

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Little Makalolo Camp in Hwange National Park. From here you will embark on your 7 night, 8 day Wilderness Safaris Zimbabwe highlights trip. This safari is a seamless combination of three of the most diverse and spectacular areas in Zimbabwe. Begin at Little Makalolo in Hwange National Park, the largest park in Zimbabwe and renowned for its incredible concentrations of wildlife, continue to Changa Safari Camp on the shores of the majestic Lake Kariba, before heading to Ruckomechi Camp on the mighty Zambezi River, adjacent to Mana Pools National Park, also known for its scenic and magnificent wildlife viewing.

You will have a full day to enjoy the reserve. Stay at Little Makalolo Camp in a Tent [Fully Inclusive]

This was one of the last wild sanctuaries of the endangered Black Rhino and was also considered to have the highest natural population density of lions in Africa although this is no longer true due to increasing populations elsewhere.

Day 5

This morning your guide will collect you and you will take a short flight with Wilderness Air from Kariba to Mana West Airstrip and a short road transfer will take you to Ruckomechi Camp. This camp is idyllically located, overlooking the Zambezi River and the imposing Great African Rift Valley.
