This trek will take you to the Nguruman Escarpment and across the sweeping range of Loita Hills spilling into spectacular views. You will encounter plenty of wild animals with your local Masai guide who will speak the local tribal language and who is highly skilled in bush wilderness, so you will be in very safe hands. This trek can be a marvelous learning opportunity of Masai culture and will be an unforgettably breathtaking safari game trek.

Day 1:Nairobi-Loita Hills
Depart Nairobi and head to our camp for the night which is the first point of entry to the Loita Hills. We can make a stop at the town of Narok to do food shopping for our trek. Once we arrive at our camp named Maji Moto (Hot Springs) we have a chance to view for game such as wildebeest, zebra, ostrich, gazelles and many more before we have dinner at our camp.

Day 2:Loita Hills
After breakfast, we can leave our camp for Narosora, via Ndarara. Our trek from here will take us across Savannah plains where we will likely spot game and maybe even a carnivorous predator! We can set up camp at Narosora, or before.

Day 3: Loita Hills
This morning we can visit a Maasai culture village which also is used as an education centre for blacksmiths, witchcrafts of the 'Loibon' and various Maasai culture inhabitants such as herders and butchers who can show us how they slaughter and treat their meat before preparation. After lunch, we can head through the Maaai grasslands to Ngututu Forest which is sloped in the valley below. At our campsite, we will be able to spot leopards, snakes, and several species of monkeys including baboons, before dinner.

Day 4 : Loita Hills - Masai Mara (325km)
7.30am Full buffet breakfast in the camp. Check out thereafter and drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your camp.
12.30pm Buffet lunch in the camp. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive.
4.00pm Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark.
7.30pm        Dinner in the Tented Camp
Overnight: Mara Sidai Tented camp LDB

Optional: Today there will be a possibility to take a hot air balloon ride. “Take to the skies for the ultimate Maasai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You’ll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colorful bag begins to bulge and take shape. Now board the traditional wicker gondola basket while the expert pilot makes final adjustments. As the pink and red fireball of the sun rises in splendor over the plains, you’re up, up and away – for the flight of a lifetime! Your balloon can soar over the most inaccessible and undisturbed parts of the Mara, with only the intermittent whisper of the balloon’s gas burners punctuating the silence of your majestic flight. Because wind and weather conditions vary, every flight is a new and different experience! From your vantage point about 50-500 feet above the reserve, you have a fantastic 360-degree bird’s-eye view as one of the most dramatic scenes in nature unfolds beneath you. Depending on the season, you might witness herds of antelope flowing like schools of fish across the plain, groups of elephants grazing undisturbed in a remote ravine, lionesses stealthily stalking a herd of grunting wildebeest, or zebras conferring in a confusion of black and white stripes and bark-like calls. After your incredible flight, it’s time to come back down to earth for breakfast. As you sip champagne and dig into a splendid breakfast of sizzling bacon, eggs, sausage, home-made breads, fresh tropical fruit and steaming cups of Kenyan coffee or tea under the clear blue sky, you might wonder what all the ordinary people are doing on this perfect African morning! Before leaving, the pilot will present you with your balloon flight certificate, and then you’ll enjoy a game drive en route back to the camp. No flight of the imagination can match this airborne experience! Note: Comfortable clothes, a hat or visor, sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket or sweater are recommended. This tour will be offered at a very special price if booked together with the safari.
Day 5:Lake Nakuru National Park
