Departing from the jungle of Johannesburg at 05h00, from OR Tambo International Airport or your lodge/ hotel nearby, and make our way through the bushveld with its Baobab trees via Martins Drift Border Post to Palapye. We will stop for en route breakfast and lunch. (Own expense.) At Martins Drift border, you will be able to change money. We will book into our rest camp or lodge, and will enjoy dinner at the restaurant or around the campfire. (Dinner)
As day break, we leave Palapye to Francistown where we will enjoy breakfast en route. From here, we make our way to Nata, where we will stop again en route for lunch, before we book in at Nata camp. At 16:30 we will go on a Makgadikgadi pan trip and the bird sanctuary and see if we can spot the flamingos and other wildlife. After our pan trip, we will enjoy a hearty dinner. Early morning rise as we already have to have breakfast at 07h00. We leave Nata Lodge at 08h00 and make our way to the North of Botswana. We will have a quick stop at Pandamatenga, before carrying on to Kasane, where we will enjoy lunch. At 15h00 we will go on a boat cruise on the Mighty Chobe River to spot some wildlife in the Chobe National Park. After our experience, we will book into our camp or lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
We will be up at 05:00 to go on a 06h00-morning game drive to Chobe National Park. On our return at around 09:00, we will leave after brunch for Victoria Falls. After setting in at the campsite or chalets, we will leave to explore the magnificent Victoria Falls before we head back for a dinner at a restaurant. (Brunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, Time is spent on own leisure this day, with all the optional activities that we have booked. We will enjoy a nice dinner later that evening in the restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)
As the sun rise we will have breakfast at 07h00, and then make our way via Kasane border post to Elephant Sands ”the place where the Elephant Rules”. We will stop en-route for lunch. At Elephant Sands you can spot up to 800 elephants per day at the waterhole in dry season. Here we will have dinner while overlooking the Elephant waterhole. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
With the trumped of the Elephant, we will have breakfast at 07h00, before we start our way to the Okavango Delta. We will have lunch in Maun the afternoon. After lunch, you have the opportunity to take an optional flight over the Delta. We will then book into our campsite and have dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, we explore the biggest Inland Delta in Botswana. We explore the Okavango Delta on magoros for the day. By returning, we will enjoy dinner at the restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast, we will leave for Serowe to Khama Rhino Sanctuary where this wildlife project established to assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros. In this Kalahari Sandveld, the Sanctuary provided a prime habitat for white and black rhinos, as well as other animal species. At Khama Rhino Sanctuary, we will go on an open vehicle game drive, with park rangers. When we return we will enjoy a traditional barbeque and spend the evening around the campfire. Day 10 Johannesburg
Up at 05h00 to leave Serowe at 06h00 for the Border at Martins Drift. Then we will make our way to Potgietersrus, where we will enjoy brunch, before leaving to Johannesburg where we will say our goodbyes at 18h00 at OR Tambo International Airport or your lodge/ hotel nearby. (Brunch)
