Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Jenman African Safaris, who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to acclimatize and relax at the hotel facilities.

Accommodation:      Victoria & Alfred Hotel or similar (superior loft room with en-suite bathroom, swimming pool, bar & restaurant)

The personal hand written note of welcome is a telling sign of the style that is the hallmark of a very special hotel. It’s this flair that sets the Victoria & Alfred Hotel on the Pier head in Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront apart.

You can experience the ambience of colonial Cape Town as you step into the foyer and sense the past of shipwrecks and storms that colour every corner, then relax in the elegant contemporary bedrooms and savour the atmosphere of one of the world’s most famous working harbours.

Built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse and converted in 1990 to a luxury hotel, it is named in honour of the Queen of England and her son. Prince Alfred visited the Cape in 1870 and officially opened the Breakwater basin, today’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 2: Cape Town   [B]

This morning you will be collected and taken on an orientation tour of the city. You will see the Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, the SA Museum and Bo-Kaap. The afternoon can be spent at leisure. We suggest exploring the abundance of activities, entertainment and indoor shopping opportunities at the V&A Waterfront.
