14 Days from Nairobi to Nairobi: Experience the ultimate in wildlife encounters on this 14-day conservation tour. Enjoy lodge and permanent tented camp accommodation in the following of Kenya’s most renowned reserves: Ol Pejeto Conservancy, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Lakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Reserve, Tsavo West National Reserve and Lake Nairasha.

Day 1:     Nairobi                                        

Upon your evening arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, you will be met at the arrival lounge by our driver guide and transferred to your city hotel for relaxation.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy                            

We depart after breakfast and drive northwards passing the foot of Mount Kenya and its lush, green plantations, proceeding to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy with wildlife viewing en-route and arriving by mid-day at your tented camp for lunch. After relaxation, we head out for afternoon game viewing till late afternoon. Ol Pejeta is famous for its Black Rhino conservation project as well as a rich abundance of other mammals and bird species. Its game-to-area ratio is unequalled in Kenya.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve                        

This day after breakfast, we head out towards Samburu National Reserve located in what was famously referred to as the northern frontier district. The reserve's wildlife comprises of a unique species of creatures including Gravy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Besia Oryx, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Somali ostrich and the pancake tortoise. There are over 450 species of birds identified as well as aquatic species in the Ewaso Nyiro River. We arrive with game viewing en-route to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we depart for our game viewing until sunset.

Day 4:    Samburu Game Reserve                            

After breakfast, we depart for our morning game drive returning back to the lodge by mid-day for lunch. Relax at the lodge in the heat of the day before re-joining our driver guide for afternoon game viewing.

Day 5:    Lake Nakuru National Park                            

An early morning start, we depart after breakfast and continue to Lake Nakuru National Park with game viewing en-route, arriving by mid-day for lunch at our tented camp. After relaxation, we head out for afternoon game viewing in the park. Lake Nakuru, is christened "The bird watcher’s paradise" and is described as the greatest ornithological site in the world, a top touristic destination with over 400 recorded species of birds. Around the lake one can find flamingos as well as a wide range of waders including Avocet, while large rafts of pelican can also be seen sweeping the water in unison. Other animals found in the park include white rhinos, lions, African buffalos, the Rothschild giraffe, baboons, zebras, impalas, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, and a variety of water birds (yellow-billed pelicans, marabou storks, hammerkops, fish eagles etc.).

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve                             

Upon a hearty breakfast at camp, we depart on a morning game drive en-route to the world renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in the late afternoon at your tented camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve                            

We spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. The Masai Mara is one of Africa's most famous safari destinations. Notorious for its great wildlife population, the reserve stretches 1,510 sq. km (580 sq. miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. The terrain of the park is primarily grassland and riverine forest with clumps of distinctive acacia trees. This is where the Great Wildebeest Migration unfolds between the Masai Mara and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania with over TWO MILLION wildebeest, zebra and Thomson's gazelle migrating annually.

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve                            

Today after breakfast, we leave our vehicles behind and head out for a morning walking safari in one of the private concessions adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This gives you an opportunity to learn animal tracking and find closer interaction with the wildlife. In the afternoon we set off on a game drive till sunset.

Day 9:  Lake Naivasha                                               

We depart after breakfast, driving leisurely to the shores of Lake Naivasha and arriving by mid-day which will afford you some time to relax before lunch. In the afternoon, we board a boat for a cruise to the Crescent Island National Park.  We walk through the island which offers ample easily spotted wildlife like giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras and impalas. The island is also a heaven for birds with more than 200 species recorded. The lake has a lot of hippos, which you can easily view from the island.

Day 10: Amboseli National Reserve                            

We drive past Nairobi to reach Amboseli National Reserve, which is our destination for the day. Arriving at mid-day, lunch will be served followed by relaxation at the camp. In the afternoon we visit a Maasai village where we learn about the tribe, interact and dance to their traditional songs.

Day 11: Amboseli National Reserve                            

We spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. Despite its small size at only 392 km², streams from Kilimanjaro, the second highest mountain in the world, surface in the centre of Amboseli, creating wetlands that support a rich diversity of wildlife and most of the classic big mammals are therefore found here. The species list includes lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, giraffe and cheetah, and bird watchers will be happy with a bird list that tops 300 species.

Day 12: Tsavo West National Park                            

After breakfast, we drive to Tsavo West National Park arriving by mid-morning and proceed with game viewing until mid-day when we proceed to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Relax at your lodge in the heat of the day before departing for an afternoon game drive in the park until late afternoon, then retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Tsavo West National Park                            

We have another exciting day of game drives ahead of us, spending the morning and the afternoon in the national park. At nearly 22,000 km², Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and one of the biggest in the world. Indeed, its size has led to the park being split into two sections - Tsavo West and Tsavo East - for easier administration. It's a classic savannah park of rolling grasslands and open woodland. The reserve is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile at the famous Mzima Springs, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu and Gerenuk among others.

Day 14: Departure                                    

This is our last day of safari and after breakfast, we pick up packed lunches and depart for Nairobi embarking on a final morning game drive in the Tsavo National Park en-route. We will arrive late in the afternoon and at the famous Carnivore Restaurant and enjoy a farewell meal (for your own account). After dinner and depending on your home bound flight, you will be transferred back to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.
