The Tanzanian Dream Safari has been designed to show you the many different facets of Tanzania and offer you a wide variety of unique opportunities some of which are not traditionally offered in a wildlife safari trip. These opportunities include the chance to go on night drives and walking safaris.
Finally we have also included a chance to explore the mystery and romance of Zanzibar from the highly sculpted Zanzibar doors to the hidden corners of Stonetown and then the beautiful white sand beaches.
Combine this with one of Infinite Safari Adventurers unique adventure extensions and truly have a unique experience that few if any other safari travelers will experience.

Day 1:

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, an Infinite Safari Adventures representatives will meet you and take you to Rivertrees Country Inn, a wonderful converted old coffee farm a half hour from the airport. This beautiful resort was the former home of the lodge owner (who is related to the Von Trapp family). There is a pool as well as pleasant grounds to walk around, monkeys in the trees and massage and WiFi facilities.

Day 2:

After a leisurely breakfast on the terrace, drive to Tarangire National Park and stay at the elegant Kikoti Camp. This luxury, intimate tented camp recaptures the time-honored splendor of the traditional safari camp of yesteryear, when comfort was defined by superior service and campfire hospitality. Each of the large tents has private facilities and have been laid out in the traditional safari manner with wooden beds, fresh linen and a veranda from which to admire the views of the bush land below.

Day 3:

Spend another day at Kikoti. Go on a walking safari and a night drive to see wildlife viewing from a completely different perspective.

Day 4:

Leave Tarangire and head up the Great African Rift Valley. Continue on up into the cloud forest of the Ngorongoro Highlands to stay at the out of the way Mysigio Camp. It is in the heart of Maasailand and offers the chance to interact with some of the tribes’ people of the area in a more authentic way then many places. Sit and chat with them, cook and eat goat, prepare medicine, dance, go for a walk with the Maasai warriors and elders.

Day 5:

Continue your ascent of the Ngorongoro cloud forest before going down into Ngorongoro Crater itself for a game drive in one of the mostly densely packed wildlife areas in the world. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool drive round the rim and drive through to the Serengeti ecosystem to stay at Ndutu Lodge. This iconic lodge is set by Lake Ndutu – itself a wildlife magnet.

Day 6: Spend another day exploring the Serengeti from Ndutu Lodge.

Day 7: Spend another day exploring the Serengeti from Ndutu Lodge.

Day 8:

Take a light aircraft from the Serengeti to the historic island of Zanzibar. A taxi will take you the short drive into the heart of old Stonetown where you will stay at Kisiwa House, a converted merchant’s house, dripping with history and character, (the manageresses name is Cherhezerade!). Spend the day and evening exploring the intrigues of Stonetown on foot.

Day 9:

Spend another day in Stonetown. Take a Spice Tour. Go on a historical walk of Stonetown and surrounding areas. The day is yours to enjoy! Then spend a second night at Kisiwa House.

Day 10:

You will be picked up and taken to Sunshine hotel on the East coast where the best beaches are. Spend the time relaxing on the beach, snorkeling and swimming.
