Day 1 & 2: Windhoek to Sossusvlei. You will be met at Windhoek Airport by your guide and drive through the mountains into Sossusvlei and your accommodation at the Kulala Adventurer Camp. Your first two nights are spent here, exploring the dunes of Sossusvlei where you have access through a pricate gate. You will be on the look out also for desert-adapted wildlife such as ostrich, springbook and gemsbok as well as black-backed jackal and Cape fox. Other activities include day and night drives and walks, quad-biking and ballooning. Kulala Adventurer Camp (2 nights)
Days 3 & 4: Swakopmund. Today you will enjoy a scenic drive up the famous skeleton coast into Swakopmund and your accommodation at the Hansa Hotel. Said to be one of the oldest buildings in town it is well positioned in the centre of town within easy walking distance of the town and beach. The cuisine is superb and the friendly service is well known. You will enjoy the sights of Swakopmund on Day 4 which may include a catamaran cruise (weather permitting) to visit Oyster Platforms and learn of the thriving oyster industry, visiting Pelican Point to see the lighthouse and viewing the many pelagic birdlife such as pelicans, flamingoes as well as Cape fur seals, leatherback turtles and southern right humpback whales. Day 5, 6 & 7: Damaraland. An incredible drive into Damaraland today, stopping enroute at the Ugab Save the Rhino Trust Camp which boasts the largest concentration of black rhino anywhere on the planet outside the national park. We will arrive into the Damaraland Adventurer Camp where the next few days will be spent enjoying mountaing biking, nature walks, day and night drives and exploring the surrounding mountains and river beds and springs. Accommodation is in dome tents with a mini verandah, wooden beds with mattress, crisp linen, duvets and pillows, towels and amenities. The tents are large enough to stand and move around in. Bathrooms are ensuite with the entrance to the canvas-wrap open air bathroom through the rear of the tent. The wildlife is varied and you may see desert elephant, black rhino, mountain zebra, kudu, giraffe, gemsbok, springbok and perhaps even a cheetah. Damaraland Adventurer Camp (3 nights)
Days 8 & 9: Ongava Game Reserve. You will drive to Ongava Game Reserve today, on the boundary of Etosha National Park to experience big game viewing and the iconic salt pan. Etosha has the highest density of wildlife in Namibia and its salt pan is the largest in the world. Wildlife to be seen during your time in this region includes lion, cheetah, black rhino, springbok, zebra, giraffe and much more. Night drives are also available and there is a floodlit waterhole to enhance the game viewing experience. Andersson's Camp, Ongava Game Reserve (2 nights)
Days 10: Depart for Windhoek. Your safari ends today after the drive south back to Windhoek.
