- More than a lodge, Nkwichi is a complete experience offering a unique taste of Africa with exquisite lakeside scenery and unparalleled tranquillity (on Lake Malawi yet you're in Mozambique!)
- Explore eight secluded beaches set on 4 kilometres of Rift Valley coastline
- hike along the rugged coastline, picnic under a 2000 year old baobab, track game through pristine woodland
- visit local villages in timeless surroundings or get a fish eagle's eye-view of the lake from spectacular viewpoints

Day 1: Arrive in Lilongwe

You'll arrive in by aircraft (flights on included) at Malawi's capital, Lilongwe. From here, you'll need to catch a light aircraft flight to Likoma Island situated in Lake Malawi (included).  From here you will board a transfer boat and travel across to the pristine Mozambican shores of Lake Malawi where your hidden paradise awaits. Spend 5 nights at Nkwichi Lodge (including 1 free night) with all meals and non-motorised activities included.

Tucked away in the treeline, each chalet a Nkwichi is unique.  All individually designed and built using local materials to blend in to their surroundings, they deliver absolute luxury in a natural setting.

This is a fantastic eco-lodge with an emphasis on immersion in the landscape, friendly service and exceptional cuisine. With delicious fish served fresh from the lake and a variety of vegetables, salads and fruit from our organic farm, natural, sumptuous meals are freshly prepared each day by our team of trained, local chefs. Tantalise your palate at a number of exquisite settings of your choice, from picnicking on pure-white beaches to dining under the starry night-sky.

Day 2 - 5. Lake Malawi

Your days will be filled with as much or as little as your desire in this remote paradise. Enjoy activities on land such as hikes, village visits, game tracking and picnicing under a 2000year old Baobab. Or experience the lake at its best while snorkelling, canoeing or taking a traditional dhow cruise to explore other secluded bays. As your day comes to an end dine under the stars or spend the entire night under the stars in Nkwichi's sublime star beds.

Day 6: Depart for Lilongwe

After breakfast, transfer by boat back to Likoma Island before catching your light aircraft flight to Lilongwe Airport for your flight home or continuation of your African experience.
