Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
You'll arrive into Johannesburg and be met immediately off the plane by our VIP representative who will fast track you through customs and to your onward flight connection to Cape Town (not included, best booked with your international airfares. Ask for obligation free quote). Arrive into Cape Town and meet your private driver who will transfer you to your luxury accommodation on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Spend four nights at Clarendon Bantry Bay in a Superior Room with breakfast daily. This property uses pure sophistication and beachside charm whilst offering you an enclave of tranquility and privacy. With just 10 rooms, it offers an elegant and exclusive stay. Superior suites have sea views, private patios, full marble bathrooms and spacious bedrooms beautifully furnished. It will be a lovely start to your stay.
Day 2: Private Half Day City Tour & Test Kitchen Dinner
Explore the city of Cape Town, known affectionately as the Mother City. Your private tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679, this is South Africa’s oldest building), the lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens and of course Table Mountain, which will give you spectacular views over the city and the Peninsula. (the cable car fee is not included as it is weather dependent and is usually closed for annual maintenance from the last week of July to Mid August). As you come back down from the mountain, make a stop at Bo-Kaap, home to the Cape Malay community, with its cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. From here you have the choice of being dropped off at the Waterfront to experience this vibrant location at your own pace, with its many shops, restaurants and pubs - or at your hotel to end the tour.

Dinner tonight is at Cape Town's famous Test Kitchen in Woodstock with return transfers. Enjoy tantalising treats on your Gourmand menu which includes wine pairing.
Day 3: Walk to Freedom Tour
After breakfast, you'll be met in reception of the hotel by your guide and head off on your private full day Walk to Freedom Tour. This fantastic tour delves deep into the country's political past and opens up doors to communities not always encountered in the city itself. Explore colourful Bo-Kaap, home to the Malay community then cross to District Six, once a vibrant coloured neighbourhood before forced removals took place during Apartheid. Then it's off to a township to meet friendly locals before heading to the Waterfront and boarding a ferry to Robben Island.
Day 4: Cape Point & Peninsula Tour
After breakfast, it's time to venture off on your private full day tour of the Cape Point & Peninsula region. Enjoy the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, cross over to Hout Bay where you can choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives where a funicular takes you to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic oceans. Stop for lunch (not incl) and then continue to Simonstown naval base where the African penguin breeding colony live at Boulders Beach. You may stop at Kirstenbosch Gardens if time permits before returning to your hotel.
Day 5: Cape Town to Winelands
After breakfast, check out and be ready in reception by 09h00 where you'll meet your driver and head off on the Classic Cape Cuisine Walk in Stellenbosch (there may be others in this component of the tour, maximum 8) and Franschhoek Wine Tasting with lunch included. 4 hour gentle stroll through the historic heart of Stellenbosch with its beautiful architecture, oak lined streets, many cafes and galleries. Includes tasting of indigenous teas and old-style rusks, wine tasting (non-alcoholic alternatives available), traditional snacks, heritage lunch platter at the oldest hotel in the country, Cape desserts, nostalgic sweets when visiting the legendary Oom Samie se Winkel, the oldest shop in town.You then continue with your Winelands Tour, visiting Paarl at the foot of a cluster of remarkable granite domes where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting. Your final stop is Franschhoek, founded by French Huguenots over 350 years ago, and widely regarded as the culinary capital of South Africa. It’s beautiful setting and café lined streets will charm you and a final wine tasting is included at one of the renowned estates here before being dropped off at your accommodation.
Spend three nights at the renowned Le Quartier Francais in an Auberge room with breakfast daily. This intimate country homestead property is in the heart of historic Franschhoek so everything is easily reached on foot - ideal when the emphasis is on fine dining and wines!
Day 6: Franschhoek Wine Tram
Today you'll enjoy the new Wine Tram that travels through Franschhoek. This hop on hop off tour is a great way to see the Franschhoek Valley as you journey through rolling vineyards in an open side tram and open air tram bus stopping in at some of South Africa's oldest and most distinguished wine estates.
Day 7: Free to explore
Explore the vineyards of the picturesque Franschhoek valley and enjoy the vibrant café atmosphere of the town. Be sure to book your seat in the private screening room at your accommodation, complete with popcorn and wine.

Day 8: Winelands - Kruger
After breakfast, you'll need to check out and be ready quite early as our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Cape Town airport for your onward flight to the Kruger region. (flight not included, best booked in combination with your international airfare) On arrival you'll be met by our driver and transferred to your accommodation.
Spend 4 nights at Savanna Private Game Reserve in their intimate luxury lodge enjoying the executive suite on a fully inclusive stay. (All meals, local brand drinks, activities, laundry services so you go home with clean clothes!)
Activities here are morning and afternoon game drives, bush walks between meals if requested and a selected range of relaxing spa treatments (additional fee). There is also the option of a cultural village visit or a round of golf at one of South Africa’s finest courses, the private and exclusive Leopard Creek Country Club.
Days 9 - 11: On safari
Day 12: Departure
After morning safari activity and breakfast, it's itme to bid the team goodbye at Lion Sands and head off with private driver to the airport for your onward flight out.
