Day 1: Arrive Victoria Falls
This morning you’ll arrive into Victoria Falls, clear customs and immigration (Visa attainable on arrival for US$30 per person) and be met and transferred to your accommodation. Spend two nights at Ilala Lodge with breakfast daily, a sunset cruise, and a guided tour of Victoria Falls including park fees.
Day 2: Explore Victoria Falls
Day 3: Chobe Bound
After breakfast, you’ll be road transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge where you’ll pick up your car. The cost below is based on a Toyota Hilux or similar.
Enroute you’ll pass through Kasane where you’ll clear customs and immigration (no visa required for Botswana) and continue to your accommodation.
Spend three nights in a safari or river room on a full board basis with all meals included, a Namibian village tour and a boating safari included. With your own vehicle, you can visit Chobe National Park for game drives when it suits you. Park fees payable on arrival at the gates.
Day 4 & 5: Chobe National Park Safari
On safari in the Chobe national park and surrounds enjoying game drives and a complimentary boating safari.
Day 6: Bound for Planet Baobab
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will self-drive to Planet Baobab located close to the village of Gweta (charmingly known as ‘place of the bullfrogs’. Spend two nights here in a Bakalanga or Baobab Hut on a bed and breakfast basis with a bush walk, sun downer drink, 3 course dinner on day of arrival and BBQ dinner on day 2 included.
Please note the Makgadikgadi salt pans cannot be seen from Planet Baobab. Guests must book an Ntwetwe Pans visit or overnight in order to experience this vast landscape.
Other optional activities for an additional fee: Ntwetwe Pan Expedition with quad bikes (2 people per bike), includes picnic lunch and Meerkat visit , optional sleep-out on the salt pans during the dry season.
Day 7: Makgadikgadi Pan exploration
Day 8: Onward to Maun
After an early morning activity and breakfast, it’s time to bid the team at Planet Baobab farewell and head to Maun. On arrival, spend one night at Thamalakane River Lodge with breakfast included. During your stay, enjoy drinks and meals at the open bar and spectacular sunsets over the river. The grounds of the Lodge are a haven for birdlife and there’s a swimming pool for your enjoyment.
Day 9: Moremi Crossing here we come
After breakfast, self drive to Maun airport and return your rental car before your proceeding to catch a scheduled light aircraft flight into the heart of the Delta for your safari finale.
Enjoy two nights at Moremi Crossing on a fully inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks, safari activities and park fees included plus the air transfers in and out of camp. Note this is a water based camp offering mokoro (dugout canoes) safaris, game and bird walks, sunset motorboat cruises and island camping for the brave (additional fee may apply, enquire if you’re interested).
Day 10: Okavango Delta Safari
Day 11: Departure day
After morning safari activity, it’s time to transfer to Maun by light aircraft in time to catch your onward flights.
