Explore the most famous Kenyan parks slow-paced. Visit Amboseli for it's elephants, Mt. Kenya for the highlands feel, Lake Nakuru for the rhinos and flamingoes and lastly maasai mara for the big cats and during the months of July to September, have a chance to witness the largest animal spectacle in Africa, the Great wildebeest migration.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli:

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/ residence at 0.30 a.m and drive to Amboseli. Arrive Amboseli after approximately 3 hrs and head for a mid morning game drive straight on. Lunch then relax until 4.00 p.m time for your evening game drive.The game drive will last until 6.00 p.m when you drive back to the Oltukai Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli Full day:

Depart for an early morning game at 6.30 a.m. followed by breakfast. At 9.00 a.m., depart for a mid morning game drive exploring Amboseli until 12.30 p.m. when you drive back to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch, afternoon game drive to start at 3.30 pm with an optional visit to the Maasai village. At 6.00 p.m. return to the Oltukai Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli to Sweetwaters via Nairobi

After an early morning breakfast at 7.00 a.m, depart Amboseli and drive to Nairobi for lunch. After lunch, depart Nairobi and drive to Sweetwaters camp. Evening game drive at 4.30 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Serena Sweetwaters Camp.

Day 4: Full Day at Olpejeta Conservancy

You will have an early morning breakfast at 7.00 a.m before departing for a long game drive in this 24000 Sq. Km game sanctuary. At 10.30 a.m, return to the camp for refreshments followed by a visit to the Moran Boma. Moran Boma is home to the endangered species which include four (4)northern white rhinos, the endangered Grevy’s zebra and the Kongoni (or Jackson’s Hartebeest).  During your visit you will meet Najin, Fatu, Suni and Sudan, four of only seven northern white rhinos in the world, and learn about their story and the story of their species. Visit starts from the Morani Information Center. Return to the camp for Lunch at 1.00 p.m. Relax until 4.00 p.m as you  await your evening game drive at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Serena Sweetwaters camp.

Day 5: Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru

Depart Sweetwaters after breakfast and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley - making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls which was named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880's. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at the Flamingo Hill Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai mara

After breakfast depart Lake Nakuru and drive to Maasai mara. The drive is approximately 5 Hours. Arrive at the Maasai mara in good time for lunch. Lunch will be at the Sarova Mara Camp. After lunch, depart for your evening game drive at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova Camp.

Day 7 and 8: Maasai mara full day:

Have an early morning cup of coffee then depart for a game viewing session at 6.30 am to 8.30 am. Return to the Sarova camp for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for a full day game viewing session within the Mara triangle with visits to the migration crossing points in the hope of seeing a river crossing. Lunch will be at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Safari lodge for the two nights.

Day 9: Maasai mara to Nairobi.

Have an early morning game drive at 6.30 a.m to 8.30 a.m followed by breakfast. After breakfast, depart Maasai mara and drive to Nairobi at around 2.00 p.m. Transfer to your next destination.
