Day 1 – The safari starts in Maun the safari capital of Botswana on the edge of the famous Okavango Delta. After clearing
customs and immigration formalities we then set off in our safari vehicle to the Moremi Game Reserve entering through
the South Gate and heading for the Western Side of the Moremi to the Black Pools area. The team will set up camp while
we set off for an afternoon game drive – exploring this amazing spectacle of nature that teems with wildlife and the focus
of many African wildlife documentaries over the years. Our camp is made up of walk in dome tents with en-suite facilities,
stretcher beds and LED lighting. All comfortable and functional. This part of Moremi has extensive floodplains, savannahs
and Mopane forest, ideal habitat for many animals both large and small, which ensure top quality sightings of some of
Africa’s iconic animals

Day 4 – After breakfast and with the camp all packed we head off through the park to the eastern side and the Xakanaxa
area of the park. This is more central and with more water, so we shall break up our time here one day by going on a cruise
on the Delta exploring the numerous water channels that make up the Okavango Delta and looking for those animals,
reptiles and birds that are at home in this environment including Sitatunga, Hippo, Crocodiles plus numerous frog and bird
species. Game viewing is still excellent here and with fantastic variety and some great photo opportunities are often had

Day 7 - Our camp gets taken down again by the team and we travel to Khwai and
set up in an operator only campsite, Khwai borders on the Northern edge of the
Moremi Game Reserve and is a community controlled area which allows us the
option of doing walks and also night drives which adds a completely different perspective to our safari and a number of
species that you might not normally see, like porcupines, aardvark, genets and hopefully watching some of the more
nocturnal predators hunting. A trip on a makoro ( traditional canoe ) is also an option here and lets you cruise silently
around this fascinating envioronment of the Okavango Delta.

Day 10 – After breakfast we then say goodbye to our camp team and head off to the airstrip for a charter flight back to
Maun so you can catch your onward flight connections.
