Day 01: Arrival Nairobi
Arrival & welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by a Beacon Safaris representative, who will later transfer you to a Nairobi hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy a city tour (at an extra cost upon request) depending on your time of arrival. Overnight at Safari Park Hotel or similar on a bed & breakfast basis
Day 02: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and depart afterward for Amboseli National Park, driving through the picturesque southern part of Kenya. Enjoy a picnic lunch on your way to the camp with an exciting game drive in the park. Amboseli National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants and other numerous wildlife species. Arid as it looks the park has supported a diversity of wildlife together with the Masai who grazed their animals in the park thanks to the waters that run off Mount Kilimanjaro. Situated against the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Amboseli offers the perfect place to take photos of this gigantic edifice at night or early morning when the skies are clear. Return to your camp after the game drive for dinner and overnight in your camp on a full board basis.
Day 03: Amboseli National Park
Get up early morning ready to spend another thrilling day in the park. An early morning game drive not only gives you a chance to have the best wildlife viewing but also welcomes you to an extraordinary view of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the camp for breakfast, you may opt to relax at the camp or go for an extra game drive after breakfast returning to the camp for lunch or you can request to have picnic lunch in the park. Our seasoned guide will do everything possible to make sure you see all the famous Big Five (elephant, lions, buffalo, leopard and rhino). Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay on a full board basis.
Day 04: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, leave Amboseli National Park and drive to Lake Naivasha through Nairobi. Stop over for a quick lunch at a typical local restaurant and another stop over at the Rift Valley view point which offers an incredible view and amazing panorama an ideal site to take photos, before proceeding to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Crescent Island on time for a guided walk, where you will have a chance to see giraffes, water bucks, impala, Kongoni antelope and wildebeest. Our guide will help you spot pythons that live on the island and later proceed to the camp diner and overnight stay.
Day 05 Lake Naivasha- Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart after breakfast, driving through the scenic Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru famous for its thousands of flamingos that color the lake pink. Have lunch in the camp and later go for a game drive in the park, here you will see zebras, antelopes, buffalo, the endangered black rhino and if you are lucky enough lions and the hard to find leopard. The park is branded as an ornithologist paradise due to the high number of bird species spotted here. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Lake Nakuru National Park
Spend your entire day in this spectacular park with game drives at your convenience. You may either opt to have a full day game drive with picnic breakfast and lunch or alternatively an early morning and late afternoon game drives at your pleasure. Lake Nakuru offers one of the world’s breathtaking wildlife sight, thousands of pink flamingos feeding along the shores of the lake. You will have a chance to see the waterbuck, and the reedbuck not forgetting the huge Rothschild Giraffe. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 07 Lake Nakuru National Park- Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast leave Nakuru for the climax of your safari, the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Picnic lunch will be served en-route to the game reserve driving through the scenic Rift Valley. Enjoy a game drive on your to the camp where you will be surprise by the variety of wildlife species present here. Don’t be surprised to spot all the big five on your way to the camp. Masai Mara boasts the highest wildlife concentration compared to all other parks and reserves in Kenya. Arrive at the camp on time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08-09 Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the next two days exploring this world famous game reserve. This reserve is not only the most popular game reserve in the country, it is probably why people visit Kenya. The reserve is set on a classic African savannah and the huge density of wildlife is astounding. Zebras, wildebeest and gazelles graze in large herds and as a matter of fact where prey is in plenty so are the predators. The reserve covers an area of approximately 1510 sq km of open grassland waters by the Mara River and Talek which is a tributary of the former. Here it is very common to see the big cats hunting; they are also in their numbers. The leopard is the hardest to spot of the famous Big Five, but in Mara it not as hard to see it relaxing on a tree. Hippos, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes also exist in large numbers. Return to the camp for overnight
(NB You may opt to fore go one of your game drive for a visit to a Masai village for an amazing cultural experience. Balloon Safaris over the reserve are also available at an extra cost)
Day 10: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Rise up early for your last morning game drive before returning to your camp for breakfast. Later leave this great game reserve and drive back to Nairobi with picnic lunch en-route. Arrive in Nairobi at around 1600hrs. Should there be time before your home flight you might be interested in city tour. If not you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight bringing to an end what we hope is a safari of your lifetime

Important Note: Your home flight from Nairobi should be booked so that it doesn’t depart earlier than 6pm 18hrs on your last day (day 10). Don’t forget to carry enough sunscreen, mosquito repellant, sun glasses, enough clothes and other personal belonging. You may carry up to 25 kilos of luggage per person.
